I left out the hominy because I didn't have it. THIS WAS AWESOME! My boyfriend rated it as one of the top five meals he has ever had.

Pot Sticker Dumplings

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2006
I did not care for the five spice powder. To me, tasting spices I associate with pumpkin pie did not fit with the chicken and soy sauce. Next time, I will use soy sauce, garlic salt, and sesame oil. I did like the simpleness of making the dumplings though.

My boyfriend raved about this, and I loved it too. I made two fillets and I recommend doubling the butter and spices for each. It is nice served with roasted potatoes and asparagus. I put some parm cheese on top too!

This was my first time ever making home-made rolls. These turned out great, very soft and golden. I will definitely make these again. Thank you for the wonderful recipe. :)

Hobo Dinner

Reviewed: May 22, 2006
I tried this recipe, noting that many reviewers said it needed some more spice than the orginal. I used salt, pepper, garlic salt, and soy sauce for the ground beef. It turned out great, the soy sauce gives such a great subtle flavor when used moderately! Easy to make, all in one dish. I will definately make this again!

I was not impressed. I ended up going to a greek restaurant down the road and getting some real tzatziki. Sorry.

This was such a flavorful soup!! I added more cilantro, used cumin instead of oregano and topped with quacamole. My whole family loved this! Thanks for this one!!

My family really liked these. My mom used to make these when we were younger and we eat them up! It's great if you have picky "cabbage" kids!

We love this one. Instead of the yellow peppers, I use roasted red pepper and it adds a nice bit of smokey flavor. And always more garlic!

My family loves these. I also had the soggy bottom problem, so I brush a little olive oil on the tortillas before I pop them in the oven. That makes them nice and crispy!

Considering the fact that my husband grew up with fried pork chops, this gives me some variation. I put it on top of rice and even my finicky daughter loved it!! I add lots of garlic and Tony Chachere's.
