This was awesome! I did use two cans of Hormel turkey chili with beans. My sister-in-law laughed at me and said, "Why not just eat the chili dog??" My three-year-old who will not eat chili dogs, gobbled this down and loved it. I will definitely make this again. Just had it leftover for lunch! If you use stale hot dog buns, they don't get soggy. :) Thanks for the recipe!

Orange Cream Fruit Salad

This was INCREDIBLE! I made it for a two-year-old's birthday party, and it was a huge hit. I added some halved seedless red grapes and a cup of blueberries. I didn't use any milk, and I used reduced-far sour cream and half of what was called for, and it was so yummy. Thanks Lori!

Comforting Cube Steaks

This was awful! It was entirely too salty, even with low sodium canned soup AND soup mix. There was also a very strange aftertaste. The steak was tough, not tender. I would have given it zero stars, if I could.

Mushroom Meatloaf

This is an outstanding recipe. I have been playing with it from time to time, substituting different mushrooms to see which one works wonderfully. I've found that Baby Bellas and Whitecap/Buttons work the best on this, while Maitake gives it a very smoky flavor but does not bind the meat as well. Your milage may vary on this.

Cathy's Banana Bread

Awesome recipe! I grew up eating my b.b. with cream cheese spread over it... Add in 3/4c of mini chocolate chips for a great dessert.

Toasted Garlic Bread

I use 6 tbs butter, and crush the garlic coarsely by smashing with the blade of a knife and then chopping it up. Adding the cheese really makes it even better! i will never use another garlic bread recipe!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

unbelievably good! i always add 1 tsp vanilla extract to the batter, before adding the blueberries. makes a lot of topping. good for mini-muffins, too!

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie

i sifted the flour to give it a more cakey texture... it was pretty good, not quite like mrs. fields'... i read several reviews complaining of overspill... i avoid this i didn't completely spread the batter to the edge of the pan, i left about half an ich for it to expand... made this for my boyfriend for his birthday, it was a hit!
