Very Good! The first loaf of break i have made myself and it was very easy. I left out the baking powder as another reviewer recommended. Used a bottle of Yeungling and couldn't be happier.

AMAZING! GREAT COOKIES! Very EASY and QUICK. yum yum yum!!!!!!!!!! tip: refrigerate or freeze p-nut butter cups so that the chocolate doesn't come off the cup. Also, after they sit for a minute w/ the melted chocolate refridgerate them...

Not as soft as I expected but still pretty darn good! I didn't have cloves so I skipped them. I used OJ instead of water due to other reviews. I will definitly make them again.

Lovely recipe, due to the weather we browned it in a cast iron skillet and finished in the broiler. Unfortunately my preschoolers did not like it.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2007
Wonderful but very dense cake like pastry, particularly when I made a batch with raisins added. I didn't have the right size pans so used a mix of what I had... mini cupcake pans and foil loaf pans. A HUGE success both plain and with raisins. Due to food allergies I had to use Egg Replacer instead of eggs. Then when I realized that I only had whole cloves substituted pumpkin pie spice. Very nice, particularly the second day.

Unfortunately my daughters didn't like it, I did enjoy it myself but I'd hoped my food allergic daughters could eat it with soy margarine and safe applesauce and bread.

Chocolate Cookie Mix in a Jar

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2007
I didn't make it and put it in a jar for a gift, I just made the cookies without the nuts (my bf hates nuts in cookies!). They were DELICIOUS! All of my friends/family loved them. I have always had a problem with chocolate cookies with chocolate chips being overly chocolaty, which I can't stand, but these were perfect. Even after they cooled, they were still soft and chewy. This is now one of my top things to bake :) Thank you SO much Jennifer!!!

Herb Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2007
My three year old dumped in an entire cup of dried sage, but the recipe still turned out great. I'm looking fwd to trying again with a more reasonable amount of sage. It only took 1 and 1/2 hours to cook, glad I kept checking the temp, in the last ten minutes it jumped from 135 to 175... delighted it still turned out juicy and tasty after all my mistakes.

Yummy and easy. Will definitely make again the next time I have kale. There are so few recipes that use kale but not pork. This recipe has a pleasant heat and really calls out for bread.

Pumpkin Cheese Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2007
This is good! Not quite pumpkin pie, not quite cheesecake. The flavor of pumpkin pie mixed with creamy goodness. I used a premade pie crust and some real pumpkin I had prepared about a week and a half ago and needed to get rid of. I also used generous amounts of apple pie spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, mace, cloves) and some ginger.

Chilled Russian Salad Dressing

I had actually never had Russian dressing before trying this recipe, but if Russian dressing is supposed to be like a spicy yummy mayonnaise, than this did the trick! Also, it was *easy*. I made it to use in the Beef-Stuffed Squash recipe that I found on this site.
