About me:
MAT in French student. Most of what I learned to cook came from a little French lady while I was living in France. I can't remember the recipes that well, but I learned how to tell when things look right.

White Bread I

Reviewed on Nov. 30, 2009 by GreeneyedGoddess
This was my first time using a recipe in my bread machine, i usually just do a box mix. I was not overly impressed but it might have been my inexperience and not the recipe. It was a little dense but again I think it was my fault and not the recipes. It did smell wonderful while baking though:) Might try it again and see if i can do better the second time around

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed on Nov. 30, 2009 by GreeneyedGoddess
My Husband and I made these to take for the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving dinner. I wanted to do something for my parents and give them the night off so i cooked a Pork Shoulder roast in Coke all day Tuesday (6am to 9pm). Drained it and took all of the fat out and put it in a container. Wednesday night I put it in a slow cooker with some BBQ sauce and a little vinegar and made the best sandwiches ever. My whole family loved them and even ate some for breakfast and lunch the next day. No leftovers. Will definitely make these again. Marinating in the soda makes all the difference
