Layered Mint Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2009
i made this last year and everyone loved them. quick and easy and hard to mess up. I used white chocolate chips for the middle layer. I put the first and second layer in the freezer to chill faster. I layered the pan with foil which i lightly greased. No problems getting them out.

Fudgey brownies that were as easy to make as those in the box. Super sweet. Could use less sugar and be fine.

Charley's Slow Cooker Mexican Style Meat

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
This was really good! I was a little nervous that it would be too hot, but it wasn't bad at all! I used all 5 ounces of the mexican hot sauce and real garlic. I also didn't bother browning the roast. Just threw it on low overnight in the crockpot and shredded it when I woke up. Then I turned off the crock pot and returned the shredded beef into the juices for a few hours. Everyone loved it! Thanks!

Pumpkin Soup the Easy Way

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
I made this soup with a fresh pumpkin, I cut into half, deseeded and rubbed with melted butter, then baked for about 40 minutes until golden. I scooped out the pumpkin and and combined with the broth. I also added a cut up and roasted ruderbager for a extra bite of flavor as pumpkin is a very lightly flavor vegetable once baked. I had my doubts about the flavor when I first made this soup. I made in the morning and reheated it that evening and all the flavors had blended together. It was wonderful.

I love this recipe. It didn't make 8 loafs for me though. I had about 5 mini loafs. The cheese and oats really make the recipe.

Mushroom Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
I gave this recipe a four star just because it needs a little more. I had to use two cans of mushroom soup to smother the pork chops and it will also leave some extra to put on your mash potatoes which just makes the dish. I recommend leaving the pork chops simmering in the soup for 35 minutes or so. It lets the pork chop marinate in the seasonings and mushrooms. Definitely makes the chops more flavorful. My two sides were mashed potatoes with the extra gravy and green beans which I sauteed with the extra onion and mushrooms.

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
This was the best chicken parmesan I have ever had. In the past I would lay the chicken on a pan and spoon some sauce over each one but this time i put the chicken in the sauce and it kept the chicken really moist. I used italian breadcrumbs and subbed mozzarella cheese instead of monterey jack.

The cookies come out perfect every time. I went by the recipe but used smooth peanut butter. My friend tried this recipe but says it comes out runny. Just add more oats until it looks the way you want.

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2009
Perfect, simple and delicious!!! My whole family LOVED it!! I used Italian breadcrumbs like other people. The chicken came out so moist and the garlic was perfect for any garlic lover. I actually realized afterwards that I used too much but it was still perfect. I was able to cut mine with a fork. Now that's good!
