Chocolate Mice

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
My granddaughter are making these for Thanksgiving for the second year. They are fabulously funny and good! Let me tell you what I learned about the chocolate wafers..they are with the ice cream cones! Don't ask me, but that is where you'll find them - very near the ice cream!

Absolutely love this recipe! It makes me not even want to try others. I added lemon zest so the lemon flavor really sticks. Also, instead of just dried basil, I used an Italian Spices mix.

Spicy Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2009
Absolutely delish! Used a little more of all the spices to make the mixture a little thicker, it stuck on the shrimp better that way. I also wrapped in bacon. A strip of bacon enough to wrap three shrimp. Very spicy, bacon countered spiciness a bit.

I also add diced pepperoni and diced red field peppers,it gives the dish a wonderful taste. I have found if you make this and use jarred spaghetti sauce,it helps to add half a cup of water to the sauce.

Ice Cream Baked Potatoes

When I make this treat,I use cinnamon with a bit of sugar instead of the cocoa drink mix,and I make a slit and put green sprinkles for chives,a lemon drop for butter, with a couple of dollops of whipped cream as well as shaved chocolate bar for bacon bits. A friend freezes caramel candies and shreds them to use as the cheese.

They tasted good a little strong though. I used vanilla vodka. The consistence was a little off. Threw must of them away. I’ll probably try it again. Not sue what ill do next. The recipe needs tweaking. I should add i tried this last December. before it had been rated. I'll like the ideas and will give them a try.

These were very delicious, reminded me of a chocolate cheesecake. I would cool them for just a bit,not too long or they will harden too much. It takes some time and effort but the results are well worth it!

Parmesan Chicken I

I've always thought there are 2 kinds of cooks, those who use cream soups (and canned broth and boullion cubes) and those who don't. I decided to give this one a chance to prove me wrong, but it wasn't even close. The canned soup made it gluey, and overpowered everything else.

So, so good after Thanksgiving with the turkey, some spinach and a little mayo in a WRAP!! I make this sauce to do turkey wraps all year... try it and let the bold among your guests beg you for this recipe!

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

I wanted something quick that used a purchased graham crust; I made it pretty much by the recipe. My mom and husband loved this and it was gone the next day. I would have preferred the pumkpin to be mixed instead of layered, but we enjoyed it.

Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

After mixing 2 cups of pumpkin seeds and 3 teaspoons of melted butter together; I layed out half the mixture and added tons of salt. It is delicious. If you accidentally use too much salt, melt some chocolate chips and coat this wonderful treat with chocolate.
