No Bake Cookies III

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2009
I learned to make these a long time ago, but lost my recipe in my many moves. Only one thing I change: depending on the moisture in the kitchen and outside I add a little bit more oatmeal to dry it out a bit. 1 minute has always been enough, even though humidity has killed many of these cookies :)

Buttery Herb Wine Sauce

Reviewed: May 11, 2009
THIS TURNED OUT TO BE A REALLY GOOD RECIPE. I didn't have any white wine in the house, so I had so improvise. I used homemade chicken stock, fresh sauted mushrooms, and deglazed the pan after cooking the chicken. The whole whole family loved dinner tonight. I even caught my hubby licking the spoon as he cleaned up the dishes from the stove! We will definately be making this one again!

Southern as You Can Get Collard Greens

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
I love collards. I cook the hamhocks for about an hour or so depending on the size of the hamhocks before adding the collards. I like my hamhocks very tender and falling off the bone. I also add 2 to 4 of a tablespoons of sugar to take away the bitter taste.

KELLOGG'S* RICE KRISPIES* Squares Original Recipe

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
This is my family favorite. My son prefers me to make this half with fruity pebbles and half plain rice crispy. I agree the vanilla flavoring is a key ingredient.

Green Punch

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
This recipe was easy and very tasty. Instead of using the the frozen orange juice I used Dole pineapple and orange juice and added 1/4 of a cup of lemon juice to make it more citrus.

Green Grape Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
This salad was delicious to me and my guest. I changed the recipe a little. I used black seedless grapes and added a cup and half of finely chopped pecans. I think it turned out good. I will certainly be using this recipe again. One thing to keep in mind is that the grapes color will start to bleed in after a couple of days. It still taste delicious.

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2008
Oh My Goodess! This roast was soooo yummy! I let it cook all day in the slow cooker while I was at work and it was still tender and delicious. I poured the juice through a strainer to get out all the particles, then added cornstarch and water to make a gravy. My family loved it! Thanks for a great easy recipe.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2008
Wow! This recipe was fantastic. We eat Tilapia a lot, and it is good to have a different way to eat it. My husband loved it, and even my kids enjoyed it. I took the advice from some of the other reviews and added the Old Bay. Thank you for this quick and delicious recipe.

Pork Chops Stuffed with Smoked Gouda and Bacon

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2008
My family really enjoyed this meal. The cheese helped keep the porkchops moist. They were delicious on the grill. It was so easy to make. I will try this again when we have guests over for a cookout!

Roasted New Potatoes

Reviewed: May 26, 2008
This recipe turned out very tasty, but 425 was too high for my oven and the potatoes burned. Next time, I will keep it at 400 degrees. But, regardless of a littel charring, they still tasted very good. I really liked the rosemary. We will make this again!

Feta Chicken

Reviewed: May 26, 2008
This was so yummy! I followed the recipe, adding only a little salt and pepper to the tops of the chicken before sprinkling on bread crumbs. I didn't like the way the bread crumbs were "dry" on top. When I make this again, I will spray the tops with some olive oil. But, the whole family lived this recipe. It was juicy and flavorful.

Mint Chocolate Truffle Cookies

My niece and I made these together, she is 6 and just had a blast. We melted the chocolate and butter on the stove instead of the microwave. They turned out wonderful! I ended up making 60 of them so they went out to other people and EVERYONE just loved them...said they were the BEST EVER!!! thank you for the recipe :) I cook/bake to keep my mind off my pain(sickness) so while they were in the figde for 3 hours I made banana bread.
