About me:
 I live in Durham NC, I have two great dogs and a younger sister who is also my roomate. We are both very busy and normally don't get a chance to spend that much time together except during the summer time. I have been cooking since I was about 6 or 7 years old. My mother always had me helping her in the kitchen. If I wanted to make something she would just step back and let me do it. She was always there to supervise and lend her expertese but she never stepped in unless it was absolutely necessary. She was great at allowing me to succeed or fail on my own merit.

Stuffed Shells I

This was pretty good. The cottage cheese made it a little too salty. This recipe made a lot and I froze the majority of it. I might add just a bit more garlic powder to off set the saltiness next time.

Broccoli Pie

This did not turn out well. I had to bake it will over a hour and it was still soggy and the batter was still raw in the middle. I think if it would have browmed better I would have given this four stars. It tasted okay and my husband and I ate it anyway. However I do not think I will make this again.

Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'

This recipe sounded great with all the good reviews, but I found it to be just okay. I have used much better reicpes. Like other reviewers the sides got extremely dark and somewhat burned. It also did not rise hardly at all. The taste was okay but it lacked something. I think I will stick to other recipes.
