Curried Rice Pilaf

Reviewed on Jun. 3, 2008 by HEIFERYUNG
This was an excellent side dish! I doubled the recipe because I was serving 12 people. I also gave a heaping measure of curry because I like it. I took the advice of another cook and used the almond slivers found near the bagged salad at the grocery. I will definitly be adding this to my list of favorites. It pairs well with the Honey Baked Chicken II from this site. Thanks for a great recipe!

Irish Cream Chocolate Cheesecake

Reviewed on May 28, 2008 by HEIFERYUNG
I prepared this exactly as stated in the recipe. I found the cooking time of 10 minutes at 450 caused the sides to burn, giving a bitter, burnt taste to the last couple bites of an otherwise wonderful cheesecake. I will make another one in the morning for my dinner party. I just realized I used too big of a pan. Maybe that had something to do with it. I've been known to have "user error". Thanks for a good recipe. Let's see if I can get it right this time. Will let you know. :)

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed on May 24, 2008 by HEIFERYUNG
I'm sorry, I did not care for this recipe. I followed it as written. As it was cooking, it didn't look appetizing, so I added another can of tomatoes, hoping to make enough to cover penne pasta. I like all the ingredients, so I'm not sure why it didn't do anything for me. I probably won't make again.
