Alienated Blueberry Muffins

These are delicious! I cut the recipe in half so that it would only make one dozen and they still turned out really well.

Italian Style Chili

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2008
My husband and I both LOVED this chili recipe. It was so delicious. We had the leftovers the next night. I added a dollop of sour cream to each bowl after I dished it up.

Casa Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2008
Very nice! We discovered we were out of sour cream to put on the tacos we made, so I tried this recipe. It worked very nicely! It was a tad bit mayonnaise-y but I guess that's to be expected with a mayo based dressing! Thanks for a quick taco fixer upper!

Chicken Tortilla Soup IV

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2008
Awesome soup! I made it easier by using canned chicken, though. I also added chopped tomato and onion, plus a sprinkling of garlic powder. It was seasoned perfectly for me. I didn't even have to go to the store, as I had all ingredients on hand!

Slow Cooker Barbequed Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2008
This was good barbecued pork! I did everything as stated except I left out the whisky. I used Sweet Baby Rays Original sauce (our favorite) and served this on potato rolls with coleslaw on the bun. I don't think you should dump out all of the cooking liquid, though. My meat was a bit dry upon shredding so I added some more beef stock with the BBQ Sauce. That seemed to fix the problem.

Spaghettini Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2008
What a great recipe to use up what's already in the cupboard. I used chicken thighs instead, and reduced the sauce a great deal before adding the pasta. Light, healthy, and perfect for summer.

Barbecue Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2008
Very nice ribs! My boyfriend gave these a 4 1/2 star rating. The sauce was really good! I used the Asian garlic chili sauce as well with great results. I didn't use the rum, and I added a squirt or two of Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. The ribs did burn a bit on the grill, but they were still good. I wish the ribs were a little more tender (like my boyfriends are!) but maybe I'll try boiling them. Thanks for the recipe!
