Incredibly Delicious Italian Cream Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2009
My family really enjoyed this cake recipe. But I do agree that this recipe doesn't produce quite enough batter to fill 3 cake pans. The flavor and texture was pleasing to us. I even wanted to use this recipe for my wedding cake!

This recipe was a big hit with me and my family. Even my 4 yr old really like these. Especially when I added some shredded cheese on top. This one is definitely a keeper!

Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2009
Ok this is like the best ground turkey meatloaf that I've ever made!! I modified it a little. Didn't have any Italian seasoned breadcrumbs so I used homemade breadcrumbs from toasted bread and used one package of Good Seasons Zesty Italian Dressing mix and finally I didn't have cubed colby jack cheese so I used a shredded cheese blend that had colby in it. Turned out fabulous! You should try it!!

This salad rocks! I wasn't able to use almonds because I was out so I substituted walnuts. My salad was awesome! My new favorite salad.

Apple Cider Sauce and Pork Loin Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2009
This was absolutely delicious. I couldn't find frozen apple cider, so I used frozen apple juice. Also didn't have any sherry, but this was great without it. The combination of spices and worstershire sauce was perfect. Husband and granddaughter are good eaters anyway, but really enjoyed this one.

Holiday Chicken Pot Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2009
YUM! I would have taken a picture to upload, but we couldn't quit eating it long enough to get a picture! I followed some suggestions from other reviews and put a bisquick crust on top. I actually made a mistake and forgot the onions, so I put cheddar french fried onions on top. It was a nice touch.

Spiced Slow Cooker Applesauce

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
This was very good. When it was done I left just a little in the slow cooker, and then made my slow cooker hot cereal in there. I use part oatmeal, part wheatina, and part cream of rice (or whatever hot cereal I have). I add brown sugar and cinnamon, and the little bit of applesauce left in the bottom of the cooker gave it a great new twist.

Easy Lasagna II

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
I loved this recipe, it was very easy and pretty quick. I had to feed 5 airman on the last minute notice, they all loved it. Next time I would add more sauce and meat and a little less cheese though. Very cheesy, and even when I added 44oz of sauce instead of 32, it still wasn't a lot of sauce. That's the only thing I would change, Very Good!

Simple Time Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
I really liked this recipe but my husband said it was not his favorite thing I ever cooked. I was skeptical about the mayo, but it turned out wonderful. I did as one of the other reviews said and mixed it with the butter first. If it weren't for my husband, I would definately cook it again.

This recipe was good. I had to decrease the ingredients by half. Quick and easy to prepare, toasted garlic french roll compliments this recipe well. Served over white rice, will try pasta the next time around.

Cabbage on the Grill

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2008
This was the same as my steamed cabbage, minus the butter. I use bacon grease for the flavor. The butter was good and I cut the cooking time down due to I like the crisp in the cabbage. Overall It is a good easy and quick recipe that I will try again.
