This was good. My first time making a pork roast & it couldn't be easier! I used soy sauce in place of the vinegar.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2006
This was ok. I think I prefer a sweeter & more spicy chili. Maybe I will add some hotter peppers and brown sugar if I decide to make this again.

Hamburger Hash Browns

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2006
I thought this was very good. While making this my husband wasn't excited about it and he suggested I put a layer of mashed potatoes on top followed by the fried onions. While it may have been a bit of startch overload, it was actually very good! Also, I cooked the hashbrowns longer to make them crispier.

These were great. Next time I will follow the suggestions of others and put them in a large baggie and shake them around a bit for better coating and I will try the dip suggested. Will make again for Christmas!

Garlic Creamed Chicken

My family liked this. I carmelized the garlic with some onions and added them to to cream cheese mixture. Next time I may add a little chicken broth or milk to stretch out the sauce.I will make this again!

Cheddar Baked Chicken

This was ok. It was very juicy, but a little bland. I will use cornflake crumbs in place of the crispies next time, and maybe add a little pepper & garlic powder to the cheese mixture. My husband did not like it. My daughter did!

Onion-Chicken Stuffing Bake

This was OK. I didn't cube & cook the chicken first. I used whole uncooked chicken breast. As a result I had to cook a little longer. My husband did not like it. I wont make it again.

Corn 'n' Beef Pasta Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2006
Way to much effort for a not so great turnout. If you decide to make it. I suggest cooking the noodles at least half way. They will not cook all the way through if you don't. Also, add salt & pepper. I won't be making this again. I ended up throwing it away.

Golden Broccoli Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2006
This was good. I felt like this might turn out bland so I added about 2 tablespoons of thick & hearty steak sauce, some onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, & a little salt to the meat mixture. I also topped the casserole with canned fried onions for the last few minuets of baking. I will make this again!

I wish I would have used much less Italian seasoning than what the recipe calls for. Also the chicken ended up way overcooked! 50 minuets is way too long!Sorry!

Cajun Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2006
Nothing to write home about - did exactly as recipe stated and pork chops ended up tough and not very seasoned. I had to sprinkle extra creole seasoning to get any flavor while eating dinner. Probably wouldn't waste the $$$ on the pork chops to do this recipe again.
