Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed on Apr. 16, 2008 by Anjuli Jihan
My best friend (a Houston born Florida guy) and I (a Maryland born Georgia girl) made this recipe for his coworkers and it was fantastic! I am not really a fan of peach cobbler, but I definitely ate this one topped with vanilla ice cream. We made 8 servings and substituted the fresh peaches for two cans of peaches in heavy syrup, drained, and it was just fantastic! I actually joined allrecipes just to tell you how fantastic it was so keep up the good work!

Hot Italian Giardiniera

Reviewed on Apr. 4, 2008 by QUINDAMOMOF6
Here where I live they have discontinued Giardiniera and I have been on the computer trying to find where they sell it and so far nothing. I have decided to make it myself since when I go into a store and ask for it people look at me funny. Thank you for the recipe. I will definately make some up minus the peppers because my kids love this stuff also. Again thank you for sharing your recipe.

Elva's Custard Pie

Reviewed on Aug. 20, 2007 by QUINDAMOMOF6
I took someone elses advice and I used 1 cup of whole milk and 1 cup of evaporated milk for mines. I made a double recipe so everything was doubled. I also used a stick of butter because I was doing two pies. Used the deep dish pie shells because regular would have not been deep enough. other wise great recipe and great aroma throughout my home. It isnt like moms but it was still a hit in my house.
