This was an excellent recipe. I made this for a church function and used spinach and it got raves. Several people asked for the recipe. The dressing goes a long way. Thanks for sharing.

Chocolate Cherry Biscotti

This was wonderful but I had a trouble with it not gettin done. I think my oven temp is off. Anyway, other than it being a bit crumbly it was really good. It got gobbled up when I took it to our family Christmas gatherings.

Sour Cream Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2006
I agree with Denise, the sauce was a let down and does need something. Maybe use real sour cream and add some white wine to the gravy when whisking to give it some flavor. The meat was very tender and I will make it again.

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2005
This was excellent. Was making for the first time for a church potluck, so I didn't want it to be too spicy. I use two cans of chilis, 1/4 tsp. cayenne and omitted the jalepeos and it was perfect! I added sour cream as a garnish and that made it good too.

Key West Penne

This was good. I used dried basil, because I didn't have fresh and I will definitely use fresh next time. I also used fat free half and half to try to try to make healthier and I don't think I will do that again. Otherwise, we really enjoyed.

I thought this was great and I do not like hot potato salad. I made this for a church supper for Oktoberfest and it got raves. Thanks for sharing.

Wow!!! This has to be one of the best recipes I've made in awhile. My "picky-eating" husband and 4 children loved it and I will make this again. Thank you for the recipe and this website.

Rosemary Roasted Turkey

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2005
I made this for our Thanksgiving. I don't roast turkeys very often. I thought I would try something new this year instead of using an oven bag. This recipe was terrific! The bird was very moist and flavorful! It also made my house smell so good while cooking. Thanks!

Apricot/Cranberry Chutney

I'm sorry but no one in my family liked this. I served it for Thanksgiving because we are not big gravy eaters. Wanted something to go with the turkey. This combination was much too tart for us and I could taste too much of the vinegar flavor. Thanks anyway.

Very yummy! Tastes like something I would order in a restaurant. I added mushrooms and used fresh tomatoes (adding garlic and onion), but it was good! Thanks!

Cheesy Sausage Zucchini Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2005
This recipe was pretty good. I made it with turkey sausage and I left out the mushrooms, because I did not happen to have any on hand. I also added garlic and green pepper to compensate for not having mushrooms. I used only half of the cheese because that is all I had also. I think it was fine with less cheese. Next time I would probably bake it in a smaller dish or for less time because the top got a bit crusty and dry. But overall this was a good recipe. Thanks.

Amy's Garlic Egg Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2005
This is a really good recipe. We loved the garlic! It, however is not very healthy. I tried to lighten it up a little using egg substitute for the yolk and I think you could probably make it with less butter. It is a keeper though. Thanks!

Cake Mix Cookies VII

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2005
I made my cookies with brickle chips. I thought they were VERY sweet. I don't know that I would make again. They weren't bad, just a little too sweet for me and I LOVE sweets. I did get more than two dozen cookies out of mine. I used a 1 tbsp. cookie scoop and they made pretty good sized cookies ( I am guessing about 48).

Chicken Tacos

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2005
These were good, although I would not classify them as great. I thought the chicken would have more flavor. I liked them and will probably make again unless I find another recipe that I like better for chicken tacos. It may be because I used Crystal Light Instant Lemonade. Maybe the flavor was more bland for that reason. It is a good alternative to beef tacos though. We enjoyed. Thanks.

Grilled Fish Steaks

This recipe was good. I put my fish in foil packets because I didn't have a grill basket and I was afraid the fish (I used cod) might fall apart. The flavor was good but I am not sure I would make again. I have several other fish recipes that I like much better.

Simple Savory Pork Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2005
I thought the flavor of this was great EXCEPT it was a bit too salty. If I make this again, I think I will make it with less garlic salt and add garlic powder. Overall it was good though if you didn't eat a big piece of the outside cut.

Caprese Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2005
We loved this salad. I chopped the tomatoes and cubed the cheese. I also coarsely chopped the basil. I did this primarily for ease of eating for my 6-year-old (and she loved it too). I used the balsamic vinegar. I will definitely make again and again.
