Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2006
Very easy and very pretty. I didn't use the styrofoam and they worked fine. I just dipped them by their stems. I had two pounds for a small party and had none left over. I didn't even get to try one, they went so fast.

Spinach and Orzo Salad

I loved this salad. Very easy and tasty. An easy way to disguise spinach from a picky eater. The balsamic/olive oil dressing was really good.

Super Sausage Gravy

I made this with 12 oz. of link sausage because that is what I had on had. I just removed the casings and crumbled. This is a really good sausage gravy. I will definitely be making this again.

Basic Baked Spaghetti

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2006
I made this for my family of 6, on Friday night and they ate up! I knew that I was going to make spaghetti, but I wanted something different and I checked out www.allrecipes.com, and I found your recipe. Thank you for it and I wouldn't change a thing. I served it with a side salad and garlic bread and my family thought I had spent so much time cooking. And, of course, the best part of it is you don't have to spend a lot of time on it. Thanks...

Green Beans with Cherry Tomatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2006
We really enjoyed this recipe. It was a nice change from my normal bean recipes. Flavors blended nicely. I will definitely make again. I did cut the butter in half, to try to make it a little healthier and it was still very tasty. I think you could do it with even less since there is so much liquid in tomatoes. Thanks for sharing.

Triple Mushroom and Carrot Medley

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2006
Loved it, and my family loved it! Didn't change a thing. Next time I might add more shitake, and button mushrooms or other gourmet mushrooms and leave out the canned ones. It doesn't seem like it's enough to feed six though. I served it with Pork Lo Mein and Egg Rolls for a nice Asian meal. Flavor was excellent!

Barley Bake

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2006
I thought this was really good. It had great flavor. I used about 1/2 chicken broth and 1/2 beef broth because I didn't have any vegetable broth and ran out of chicken broth. It was very good. My husband didn't care for it. But I liked it and so did my 7-year-old daughter. It does make a rather large recipe, so we had tons left over.

BBQ Chicken Calzones

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2006
These were pretty good, but something was a little off to me. Maybe it was the combination of cilantro and bbq sauce. Maybe I didn't use the right bbq sauce. We all enjoyed it, but I am not sure if it was enough to make it again. Thanks.

Chicken Enchiladas I

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2006
Very, very good. An easy dinner using some leftover chicken we had on hand. I was curious about how the parsley & oregano would taste in a mexican dish, but it was really good. We omitted the water...the filling seemed thin enough. Thanks...this is a keeper!

Quick and Easy Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2006
Excellent chowder. I made a couple of changes. I used fat free half-and-half and per another reviewer's suggestion, I used a couple tablespoons of corn starch and a small can of evaporated skim milk in place of the heavy cream to try to lighten up a little. I also added two chopped potatoes and two teaspoons of dried dill weed (just a personal preference). It was very yummy and my family really liked it too.

Carmel's Crunchy Pea Salad

This salad is good. I took it to a 4th of July party and a couple of people said they liked it, but I had plenty left over. It is not very good left over. I would say that I might make it again.

Mrs. Sigg's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: May 24, 2006
Mrs. Sigg knows her cookies. I have also made her snickerdoodles which are awesome! These are great! I also added about 1/2 cup more peanut butter. I think I will cut that back next time. After they cooled they were a little on the dry side. I will definitely make again.

Simple Salmon Chowder II

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2006
Excellent chowder! I made with 1 1/2 c. fat free half and half, on another reviewer's suggestion and to reduce the fat. I used turkey bacon too to cut the fat a bit. I also used about 1 1/2 teaspoons of dill, since I like dill a lot. Very tasty and easy the leftovers re-warm well too.
