BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

We give this a four only because we added some things...but this was a great base to start. We added the beef broth but only had a 10 ounce can, so we added a couple shakes of liquid smoke and about half a bottle of hickory smoke A-1. Put it in the crock pot for fours hours and followed the instructions the rest of the way. It was AMAZING!!!! I would give the meal that came out 5 stars, but because we didn't stick to the recipe exact, I gave it 4...hope that makes sense.

Tomato, Cucumber and Red Onion Salad with Mint

We add a few little less onion but that's just personal preference. The first time we tried this we took it to a party. It was a hit. We took an empty bowl home with us!

Sugar Coated Pecans

I doubted my husband when he wanted to get all fancy and make these. I admit I was wrong. These are awesome! We put them in a spinach salad with strawberries, mozerella cheese and a poppy seed dressing.

Chicken broccoli casserole

Is it cheating to give your own recipe 5 stars? But somehow the directions got messed up! Let me clear it up...you do not cook the chicken in the microwave, you boil it until it's done. This has become a family favorite. I always have the ingredients on hand and it's also a good one to make ahead and freeze. My two year old eats it without thinking twice about the broccoli.

Foil Wrapped Veggies

This was so good I would rate it even higher if I could! I put everything in one big tinfoil packet and followed the recipe exactly. It didn't seem like the amount of rosemary and thyme would be enough, but it was perfect! I couldn't stop eating it even while I was putting away the leftovers :))

Feta Cheese Turkey Burgers

Yum, yum, yum!!! This is the best turkey burger I've ever made - even using the lowest fat ground turkey breast. I did add some chicken broth as others suggested, but other than that I didn't change a thing.

Garlic Parmesan Orange Roughy

Loved this recipe :)) Even my daughter ate it and she complains every time I cook fish! The only changes I made were reducing the parmesan to 1/4 cup and omitting the butter - for diet reasons. I'm sure it's better with the butter, but it also tasted great without it!

Amazing Whole Wheat Pizza Crust

The name says it all - it is truly an amazing pizza crust!! I also added a tablespoon of italian seasoning and used all whole wheat flour. I grind my own grains and used mostly hard white wheat with a little hard red wheat. I did end up using the full 3 1/2 cups of flour. I couldn't be happier with the results!

Allie's Mushroom Pizza

This recipe will be a favorite at our dinner table from now on!! I made one pizza exactly by the recipe and the second pizza I added a thin layer of basil pesto over the oil and also a half can of well drained petite diced garlic and olive oil flavored tomatoes. Both pizzas were very good. I also used the "Amazing Whole Wheat Pizza Crust" recipe from this website (using 100% whole wheat instead of the mix of white and whole wheat flour). I have never been so happy with a homemade pizza!!
