Simple Sloppy Joes

Reviewed on Aug. 18, 2009 by Mary
I made the following modifications: used 1 1/4 of meat (that's all I had), added diced onion and green peppers, decreased the soy sauce to 1 tbsp then added 2 tbsp of yellow mustard and 2 of Worcestershire sauce. Both my roommate and I loved it! It tasted like the sloppy joes I had when I was a kid.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed on Aug. 12, 2009 by Mary
I loved this recipe. I didn't have onions, so I omitted them. I added a can of potatoes and carrots(both drained) in the last hour of cooking. It was delicious. Even my picky roommate loved it. I served it over white rice. Leftovers are delicious, too.

Summer Beer II

Reviewed on Jul. 8, 2009 by Lonna Brown
I really wish someone would have given info of some sort about what kind of beer to use considering not all are equal. I ended up using an actual Sam Adams Summer Beer. I added a bit of sugar as the overall flavor was not as sweet as I would have hoped for. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this! As others have stated, this is indeed the perfect summer gathering beverage!
