Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Very tender chicken (I covered for the first 30 minutes). And the sauce has an excellent flavor. Great for an inexpensive meal.

Stuffing

Reviewed: May 29, 2009
I cooked this in the oven. Only needed 14 oz. of broth. Added bulk pork sausage and left out the marjoram (just because I never use it and didn't feel like buying it). It turned out excellent. So much flavor. I will be using it as my "regular" for stuffing.

Cheddar Pear Pie

Reviewed: May 20, 2009
From the reviews I thought this is going to be an excellent pie, but it didn't live up to my hopes. This was my very first pie ever! I was confused as how big of a pie shell does this 6 cups of pears need. It'd have been easier for me. I've settled with 9" pie shell. It was probably a bad choice. I had 5 cups of pears after chopping, and it was full! I mean overflowing, the "crumbles" were heaping over the top. Oh, the crumbles! I don't know what was wrong, but I followed the recipe... and with a pastry blender I was cutting in the butter... it was a disaster! It didn't work out for me. The dry ingredients were too much and did not cling to the butter the next second it was a mush. I had to kind of scrape it in little bits on top of the pie. My husband loves it though. I think it is just average.

Lemon Pudding Cookies

Reviewed: May 20, 2009
These are so easy to make. I have found it though that it needs 1 or 2 Tablespoons of water mixed into the dough for lemon, chocolate, pistachio, coconut instant puddings. Butterscotch was the only flavor it didn't needed extra moisture for forming the little balls. I recommend the lemon and the coconut out of these flavors. And I have rolled the cookie dough balls in sugar before placing them on the cookie sheet, as some people found it bland.

Key Lime Cookies

Reviewed: May 20, 2009
Use key lime juice. For those who are having problems with stickiness, just use a cookie scoop (like a small ice cream scoop). That way the dough never has to touch your hands. Don't add more flour - that would diminish the flavor. This cookie is very cake-like, just so you know.
