SOOOO good! Time consuming, but worthit if you have time. I used half & half & doubled the sauce. There was actually too much sauce.........so i think next time I will just follow what the direct. say.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2007
I use boneless chicken breast cut into strips instead of using wings. We don't like a super hot sauce, so I used Crystal sauce. The flavor was just so awesome!! Since finding this recipe, I've made it 3 times; twice for my family and once for my Hubby to take to work for his shift (9 guys). Everyone raved about how good it is! I think I would rate this recipe a 10 if I could!!

Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2007
I used whole wheat crackers since that was all I had on hand. I also added some Parmesan cheese to the egg mixture. I uncovered the chops after 20 minutes for a more browned meat. Everyone raved and my Hubby said, "That was the most tender pork chop I have ever eaten!" That and it was the most flavorful!! Thanks for a delicious recipe :o)

Beef Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2007
Great recipe. I added garlic while I was cooking the meat/onions/celery. I didnt have any Beef Boul., so I used 2 packets of Onion Soup mix. I also added a bit more water & bought crinkle carrots already cut up at the store. Great recipe for when you are in a hurry too!!! The meat was a bit tougher than I like but no big deal, perhaps cooking this in the crockpot would help that out. I also used whole wheat noodles & it was perfect!! THANX

Broccoli Chicken Divan

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2007
I used cream of potato soup since that's all I had on hand. I added an 8oz. block of softened cream cheese to the soup/milk mixture. I sprinkled some salt, pepper and chicken flavor instant bouillon (to taste) on the top instead of the bread crumbs.I have to say, this dish was exceptional! My kids loved it. Next time I'll double the recipe so we can have leftovers.

Sauteed Garlic Asparagus

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2007
I had never made asparagus before, so was looking for a simple yet tasty recipe. I added 2 ingredients to this recipe; some chopped onion and a sprinkle of instant chicken bouillion. My kids raved about this and want to know when I'm making more! I would rate this recipe higher than a 5 if I could!

Ultimate Spicy Spud Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2006
I thought this soup really lacked flavor, especially the 1st day. The 2nd day was better, but I still had to add more salt & pepper. I mean the soup had heat but lacked flavor. I think next time I will use no butter & more sausage. Good soup to add things to though, good basic recipe.

Weekend Brunch Casserole

Reviewed: May 16, 2006
Taste was delicious. Looked very pretty too, my 5 yr old helped me & had fun. The only problem was the cooking time, 15 minutes was nowhere near enough time. After the 1st 15 min, I put the dish on a cookie sheet & covered in foil so it would not burn & kept baking it till it wasnt runny, probably a good 15 minutes more. But other than the cooking time, this casserole is great!!

This soup is sooooo good! I followed the recipe exactly except for I decided to add some cayenne pepper to add some heat. My husband said " oh honey this recipe is a keeper". It is so simple to make & yet tastes to much more complicated. Great recipe!!

This did not work out for me.The phyllo dough was super soggy on the bottom. And be careful not to add too much dijon, as it was over powering. I might try to make this again, I have not worked much with Phyllo dough, it is very time consuming.

The meat & bean mixture is great! BUT, I noticed the tortillas were soggy after you baked it & that I didnt like. So, I made burritos out of the mixture I had left over & thta was GREAT! I will countunue to make the meat/bean mix. just not in the pie form but for tacos & burritos.

Very good!! I used Wild Turkey for the whiskey in the sauce & it was a bit much, so I will cut back next time or use Makers Mark or Jack. I also added some cinnamon to the milk mixture & it was yummy!!

Pan-Fried Asparagus

YUMMY!!! My mom-im-law came over for dinner & I made this recipe along with the Cheesy Pesto Chicken Wraps(also found on this site)!! Dinner looked like something you would get at an expensive rest. There was a bit to much butter, & I even added 1 lb. of asparagus, I will reduce next time. But this is a definite keeper recipe! U will luv it!!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2004
I had an 8 pound chicken instead of the 2-4 pounders. I didn't have onion powder, so used dried chives. Also I thought the 4 teaspoons of salt seemed like alot, so cut it back to 3 teaspoons. I rubbed some of the dry mix under the skin as well on the top and also sprinkled some on the inside before putting the onions in. I didn't realize it was supposed to be marinated for some time, but it still turned out moist, tender and flavorful. Everyone raved at how good it was. Thanks Sue for sharing this with us :o)
