Someone gave us one of those boneless football type hams, so thats what I used I scored the top of the ham and poured the sauce over top of it baked it in the oven for about 2 hours I brushed it with the glaze every thirty minutes. Husband and kids loved it

Ice Cream Sandwich Desserts

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
This recipe is so good in the summer time when everyone wants ice cream cake. I make the following changes, I crush oreo cookies and stir them in the cool whip I also use carmel and hot fudge sauce. You can also use the neopolitan icecream sandwiches for a nice change.

My mom used to make this, minus the cheddar cheese and called them cowboy beans. The only change I made was to put the cheese under the biscuts not on top this brings back memories thanks for posting this recipe.

Chili Dog Casserole II

Based on reviews people either love them or hate them, our family tended to be in the love it group. I used a large can of Hormel chili with beans and cheese hot dogs. I also added chopped onions and cheese in the the tortilla with the hot dog it isn't fancy but it fills the bill on a busy night

Aunt Bev's Glorified Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
Excellent! Another twist that an old friend used to make for me I would have considered glorified AND sinful... load just about every kind of white cheese imagineable on the bread in addition to tomatoes. Cream cheese, mozzarella, provolone, swiss, you name it. Simply delicious! Melisa Morris http://www.awomantoldme.com/article.aspx?id=e970641e-c737-473a-be72-e741f7f2e4ef

Cheesecake Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2008
We like thick brownies at our house so I made this in a 9x9 pan and it took almost an hour to bake completely, even though I swirled the cream cheese mixture into the brownies it all went to the top making two layers, that may have been b/c I used reduced fat cream cheese anyway the end product was good no complaints from the testing crew and it was gone it two days!

Original Chex® Party Mix

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
I made this for the first time with my kids and we loved it! I did use the oven method, baking at 250 degrees for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes. I also doubled the dry seasonings. I used corn and rice chex, roasted peanuts and small pretzels. It's great because you can put really just about anything in it that you want!! I think this is the start of a new holiday tradition for us!

Garlic Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2008
This was simple to make and delicious!! I love brussel sprouts but wanted a new way to cook them. I also chopped a half of a vidalia onion and cooked with the garlic. I didn't need to drain them, but I did add the rest of the butter. Even my husband who doesn't like brussel sprouts thought they were good! I will be making them again in a few days with Christmas dinner. Oh and I used frozen brussel sprouts, and they came out just fine!

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2008
I made these cookies with my mom because she wanted soft ginger cookies. These came out great, and sooo easy!!! We did put the dough in the fridge for about an hour to make it easier to work with. I dipped them in red and green sugar for a festive look. They really do come out soft and stay that way. Great recipe!!

Stuffed Pepper Soup IV

This was delicious!! I did not add the thyme or sage. I added some crushed garlic to the onion and peppers. When I filled each bowl for my family, I sprinkled shredded sharp cheddar on top and this really made it stand out. I will be making this again!!!

These are delicious, and I was never a fan of blueberry muffins until I tried these! I did add an extra 3/4 cup of sugar and next time I'll add an extra cup of blueberries. I sprinkled sugar on top before baking. Thanks for a great recipe!

Chocolate Caramel Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2008
These brownies were a huge hit with my husband and kids! I thought they were too sweet, all I could do was a eat a little bite. But I only had a half cup of peanuts instead of a full cup. I think if I would have had the full amount of nuts they would have cut the sweetness of the brownies better. I will definently make these again for my family!

Apple Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
I followed the recipe exactly and they were delicious!! I only had to bake them for 28 minutes and they were done. So 35 minutes is probably too long! They were very moist and the topping nice and crisp. Next time I may add another cup of apples to them. I will definently make these again and again!!

Chicken Stew With Coconut Milk

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2008
Really, really good. I made this for a group of women coming for dinner. It was so easy to prepare, and tasted wonderful. I accidentlaly used the entire can of coconut, but other than that, followed the recipe precisely. Everyone raved, and I got a few requests for the leftovers and recipe. Who thought a microwave meal would be this good?

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2008
Yes, it really is that good. What the butter/sugar mixture does to the crust is unbelieveable. I made this two weeks ago, and people are still telling me how good it was, and everyone wants the recipe. I thought it was a lot more work than my regular recipe (and people rave about it, too!), but the difference in the crust alone is worth it!
