This is a fun, inexpensive, creepy Halloween entree that will gross out and impress your dinner guests. It is mini meatloaves baked in tomato sauce that are shaped like rats with cheese in the middle. When you cut it open, gooey cheese will come oozing out. Garnished with a spaghetti noodle tail and carrot ears, these pests are sure to be a devilishly delectable dinner.

This is a great conversation piece at parties. Adults love it as much as the children do. Get a new garden trowel, medium sized flower pot and artificial flower at a craft store for full effect.

Cantina Pinto Beans

Cumin, cilantro and red pepper flakes lend a Southwestern flair to tender pinto beans in this recipe from Mrs. L.R. Larson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. 'This dish was inspired by one served at a Dallas, Texas restaurant. The chef added chunks of ham, but my version is meatless,' she writes. 'It makes a great Tex-Mex side or a filling lunch when served with corn bread.'

Tilapia fillets are rubbed with a mix of secret spices, then pan fried and served on white bread with a squeeze of lemon juice. I found this recipe in the pocket of a sleeping hobo lying by the railroad tracks. Where a hobo gets Tilapia from I have no clue.
