Greek Style Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
Not sure what happened. Flavoring was good, but came out very mushy, did not care for the texture... made with the greek steak!

Sweet Potato Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
This recipe is excellent, I did however use a "secret ingredient" my grandma used to use.... about 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk mixed in.... also before placing marshmallows on top of potatoes I lightly drizzled syrup to give it extra sweetness. This is a MUST for your Thanksgiving/holiday dinner. Thank you

Mmm-Mmm Better Brownies

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2008
the flavor was great on these, but I was disappointed that they came out so "flat" they didnt seem to fluff up. The texture was more cake like than brownie but delicious. Thank you for sharing.

Blue Cheese Burgers

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2008
These burgers ROCK!!! Amazing flavor, and we didnt even add ketchup, or mayo... they did cook down a bit using the 80/20 beef, so next time I will plan on more beef for each burger. My husband even cooked mine well done ( and I like mine medium rare) and it was still delicious and very juicy. We are making again this week and cannot wait!

Chicken Chimichangas with Green Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2008
This was fantastic. I made this tonight, and used the recipe for 8. I added mexican rice on the side and ended up with leftovers enough for 2 whole dinners. The entire family loved it. The only change I made... instead of green olives, we used black. I took a packgage of boneless skinless chicken breasts and boiled them. Once done cooking, we shredded them with a fork and a knife. Took only a few minutes! This was fantastic and my 13 year old daughter and I had a great time making it.

This is a fantastic recipe! We really enjoy a great local greek restaurant, but with 5 mouths to feed, going out gets expensive. This is as close to the real greek restaurant as you can get. Thanks so much for sharing. Followed exacctly as recipe reads and making tonight for the 3rd time! Delicious!

Strawberry Pretzel Salad

I have always loved this dessert... but this time I used a graham cracker crust and instead of jello, I used two cans of cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese/whipped topping mixture. Tasted more like a cheesecake... YUMMY:P

True-Blue Potato Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2007
Delicious! Everyone went crazy over this potato salad when I took it to a recent cook-out. I too, left the skins on. And instead of dicing, I quartered them. (keeps them from 'mushing' when mixing the dressing in) Also I mixed in the blue cheese instead of sprinkling on top.

I subbed evaporated milk for the heavy cream for a lower fat dish. Still great. Also used homemade chicken stock, and that was awesome too!

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2007
This was a hit at our house! Our variations - cooked 3lbs of chicken in skillet w/Adobo seasoning and Southwestern seasonings. For the sauce we used cream of chicken soup and the rest of the listed ingredients with the addition of 1 can of Ortega (hot) red enchilada sauce. Served w/spanish rice and corn - YUMMY!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2006
This recipe was great! I only altered a little bit - I used 1.5lbs of stew meat, I did not add water and I sprinked a little bit of all-purpose seasoning to the raw stew meat. I only cooked it for about 5 hours but it was WONDERFUL over egg noodles. We have a family of 5 - soon to be 6 - so I am making at least DOUBLE next time.

Fruit Pizza I

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2004
I used pre-made cookie dough and this turned out to be a hit with the adults and children at our party. I used bananas, strawberries and kiwi I i glazed it to keep it from turning brown in the fridge. (Glaze - mix 1/2 cup apricot preserves with 1/4 cup of water and brush onto the top). It was SOOO good. I also added a bit more cream cheese because I like a nice thick layer on my pizza!

Amish Yumazuti

I do not know about the others who tried this recipe - but it turned out PERFECT for me. Yes I did add a little salt and pepper to the ground beef while cooking that part - but other than that I followed the recipe EXACTLY. It was not at all dry and my whole family LOVES it. I thought it was going to be a strange combo at first - but it was really refreshing.
