Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
My husband very much enjoyed this recipe, however I was slightly disappointed with the overall flavor. I let the chicken marinade overnight, and perhaps that made the flavor too strong. Will try again, esp since he has requested again.

Baked Potato Soup V

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
this was a good soup, but i felt it turned out a little bland in flavor, I tried adding a little garlice powder and some extra pepper. family enjoyed and we had enough for lunch the next day.... note: be sure to make sure the potatoes are cooked thoroughly and completely soft!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
Wow! I was really wondering how good this recipe would be... nearly perfection. I actually did this for Christmas dinner, and since there were only five of us, I made two smaller chickens. I rubbed both, placed in saran wrap, cooked one the next day and waited until the next day to cook the second. They were both delicious, even though the second chicken I did not have time to "slow cook", I cooked for about 1 1/2 hours on 350. Both cooking times turned out fantastic, although the slow cooking method was slightly more moist... I am not sure if this has more to do with the slower cooking or the fact the second chicken sat in the fridge for an extra day. Highly recommend this recipe. Perfect for a weekend day

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
I hate to rate recipes that I have altered, it doesnt seem fair to the posted recipe. I did not use the pork tenderloin, just because of the difference in the pricing. Turned out delicious! Used about 3 times the amount of root beer called for since my pork was so much bigger. Turned out fantastic, and with the amount of meat, ended up with enough for two meals, just put back in slow cooker for the second day and was even more moist and tender.

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
I have to say, I was a bit skeptical, it seemed to simple to be a really great recipe. I followed the recipe as written with the exception of taking other's advice and marinating the chicken in the taco mix with about 2/3 cup of water. I also had some peppers and onions that were cooked and left from fajitas last night that I poured on top of the chicken while baking. This was really great! So nice and simple, and one of the nicest things was that all of the ingredients are usually in the fridge and/or pantry. Great addition to the list of meals we will enjoy over and over! Thank you

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

excellent, I cut way down on the mushroom stems and used a bit of sweet italian sausage at my teenage daughter's request. Loved the suggestions of placing mix in a plastic bag. They turned out perfect and my family devoured them on Christmas. thank you

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
these were delicious! followed the recipe exactly. Used 4 of the largest baking potatoes I could find, and took suggestions from other reviewers and left about 1/4" of the potato in the bottom for some support. We ate 4 of them (boy are they huge) and I put the other 4 in saran wrap and froze for a quick side dish next week. thanks!

I cannot say enough good things about this recipe! It was so simple and easy to make, I boiled my chicken and then cut into chunks. I did not have any crackers so i used another's suggestion and topped with a mixture of shake and bake and bread crumbs. DELICOUS!!! I also sprinkled a bit of parmesan cheese on top of the bread crumbs. Even the leftovers on this were excellent reheated

London Broil

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2008
this was fantastic! My picky 11 year old son is already asking when we can have it again, and we just had it 2 nights ago. Due to a short time frame, I marinated for about 20 minutes, and since it was only 3 degrees outside, I opted to broil in the oven. I flipped every few minutes to be sure I didnt overcook. thank you for sharing. we will defenitely make again.

I made this recipe last night for dinner. The first time was about six months ago. THis is AMAZING. Followed the recipe exactly, and like other reviews, I heard from my husband that the dinner (esP) the sauce was something you would find in a great restaurant! I am lucky, I stay home today so I get to claim the leftovers for lunch. thank you for sharing!

Beef Stew VI

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
I cannot say enough about this recipe. My family was asking for stew, and I tried this since had so many positive ratings. The only thing I changed was I added a can of mushrooms with the juice, since my family likes mushrooms. I have never made stew before and cannot believe how even my picky boy loved it. I thought we would have tons of leftovers, but everyone had 2 servings (except my husband who had 3rds). I made with a loaf of baked french bread. THANK YOU for sharing We will be making again this week!!!
