About me:
 Im only 15, but i have loved cooking since i got an easy-bake oven for my 7th birthday. It was somewhat of a failure since i didn't read the directions and poured the powder into the pan with no liquid or eggs, just expecting the powder to magically turn into cake. I have yet to live that story down at family functions. Any help or tips for making anything from cakes, to meatlof, to a really good spinach dip are appreciated. Im the Betty Crocker of my friends, when theres a party or a gathering, i show up with a plate of something yummy. Im young, and just want to be a really good cook.

Mexican Layered Dip

A favorite for movie time or as a snack between meals. I use this sometimes as an appetizer before tacos or serve with the large Fritos for when there are a bunch of kids over. They really like it (-minus the black olives, lol).

Chicken Fried Chicken

This is the only fried chicken recipe I was ever able to make correctly and have the flavor I was looking for. I do use the cutlets with this recipe but every time the chicken comes out wonderful.

Black Bean And Corn Salad II

This is a pretty good salad and sometimes I will add some chicken if I want meat with it. I personally like it without anything added better. Sometimes I chop the ingredients up small and serve with my tacos or as a dip too when we are in the mood for something different as a snack.
