Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
oh my goodness this recipe is awesome. This was my first time making a pot roast ever!! It tasted soo good and it had lots and lots of flavor. I loved the gravy with the mashed potatos. I will definitely be making this again. I followed the recipe exactly as it say except I used a little less than 5 lbs

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2008
This is the first time I have ever made BBQ Pulled Pork. It was really good. Next time I might try to do my own bbq sauce. My husband and I loved it!

Easy Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2008
This is my familys favorite for the last 2 Thanksgivings in a row. It's great to make this while the turkey is in the oven. It tastes wonderful & not at all salty.

The sauce was way to sweet. Alltogether it the brown sugar over power the meatloaf.

Fluffy Hot Chocolate

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
I tried this recipe as written, (while still on the stovetop) and it just wasn't chocolaty enough for me. I added 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips and let them melt, while stirring. It made the difference! We will be making this on Christmas morning!

Oriental Sesame Slaw

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2008
This was pretty good! I took a shortcut and used a bag slaw mix. I also used toasted sesame seeds (white) instead of black ones.

Lower Fat Banana Bread II

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2008
i did my bread diff, 1/3 c of sugar, 1/4 c of yogurt, 4 banannas, 1/2 t vanilla. i overcooked it as this was my first time & every time i would insert the knife to see if it was cooked, it would come out w some sticky batter, adn i gave it 45 extra mins, as in the recipe it says, the toothpick needed to come out clean, so thts wrong in the recipe. the four bananas didnt do much, still needed more of the banana flavor...so next bread ill add more bananas. but overall, it was a good recipe... i will try this again w more bananas n maybe some banana extract n omit vanilla extract!!

Paul's Pumpkin Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2008
I was looking for a pumpkin cupcake recipe and decided to try this recipe.I used the cream cheese frosting II recipe. I agree with the other review that this a cakey recipe rather than a bar, which was perfect for cupcakes! I added 1 tsp ground nutmeg and 1/2 tsp ground cloves. Half the cupcakes, I placed the frosting on top and the other half, filled the middle with the frosting! Yummy!

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2008
Used this recipe for pumpkin cupcakes. Very good and simple. I whipped the frosting a little too long and it had an almost meringue consistency. It needs too kept cold to decorate properly. Once it starting getting close to room temperature it was hard to control and handle.
