Linguine Pasta with Shrimp and Tomatoes

Very good! I upped the garlic and cajun seasoning to make it taste more spicy than sweet. Next time I may add a few more tomatoes to make a little more sauce.

Best Lemonade Ever

Country Quiche

First I have to say that I am not really a breakfast food person. It was ok, but not something I will make again unless I have guests over and cannot find anything else. I used 6 eggs, upped the cheddar cheese to 1 cup, upped the mozarella cheese, used 4 Tbs of milk. I think the others that doubled the recipe must have been using a pie pan, because it did not all fit in the quiche pan. I used the No Fail Pie Crust III recipe from this site, a recommendation from another reviewer. It was my first time making a pie crust and it turned out flaky and wonderful.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Very good recipe. All the rolls were gone within minutes of being removed from the oven. A sure sign that the family enjoyed the recipe also. I did lower the cooking temperature to 375 to make sure the bottoms of the rolls did not burn.

Restaurant Style Chicken Nachos

Turkey Fried Rice

I did alter this recipe to fit my time constraints and the ingredients I had on hand. I did not refrigerate anything overnight, I did not use lettuce and I used Basmati rice (white rice) instead of brown rice. It turned out wonderful.

Black Magic Cake

I normally don't care for chocolate cake, but the birthday girl requested it. I used the sturdy whipped cream frosting with this cake and it was a great combination. I followed the recipe to a T and it turned out moist with great flavor.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Very good pizza crust. I did put some olive oil and garlic on the crust before baking. I also baked the crust for 5 minutes before adding the toppings to assure that the pizza crust would be completely cooked throughout.

Sturdy Whipped Cream Frosting

This is a really good, not too sweet whipped cream frosting. I used it to frost a black magic cake, also from this site. I think this recipe would also make a great cool whip inspired fruit dip.

Easy Key Lime Pie I

I am not a real fan of key lime pie...too tart for my taste. However, my mom enjoyed it which was all that really mattered. I took others' advice and reduced the amount of egg by one, used an additional can of condensed milk, and used 1 cup of key lime juice. An easy way to juice key limes is to cut them in half and press them in a garlic press.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

This is a great recipe. It was sooo easy to make too. We made personal pizzas and they were delicious and they were a HUGE hit! This is the best pizza dough recipe I have made before. It was perfect all the way around; taste, crisp on the bottom, chewy on the inside. I baked them for 10 min. then pulled them out and brushed them with melted butter that was mixed with a fresh pressed clove of garlic and then put on the sauce and toppings and baked another 10 min. So good!! Try this recipe, you won't be disappointed!
