Singaporean Tender Pork Spare Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2006
My husband and I LOVED this! It was so yummy!! I personally don't like spare ribs, so next time I make it I think I will use a pork roast sliced or something, but the flavor was phenomenal!! I made it with Coconut Jasmine Rice and it was a wonderful accompaniment to the dish!! I will definately make this one again, it made me feel like a gourmet chef! ;o)

Quick and Easy Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2006
So good, and so easy!! I did what other cooks suggested, and added crab meat, and shrimp. I also added some corn at my husband's request. And for a little added flavor, I sauteed some chopped onion and celery in bacon fat, and added it as well! So yummy!!!

Beth's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2005
I've been looking for a chocolate chip cookie that has a great taste and the perfect texture. Up until now, all of my cookies have come out flat and either ultra-gooey (borderline rubbery) or ultra-crunchy, and even ugly. These are beautiful cookies. It's true- they don't lose their shape. Not too sweet, but just sweet enough.

I made Passover dinner for the first time. My husband is Jewish, and you guessed it..I'm not, so needless to say I needed all the help I could find. This was a BIG hit..my in-laws were totally impressed. As the other reviews recommended I did double the wine. Thank you for this recipe.

Sweet and Sour Meatballs III

5 friends and myself were testing recipes for sweet and sour meatballs. This one came in second..but it was close. They came out on the sweet side. We all agreed that the sauce would be fantastic on spareribs.

Creamy Pesto Shrimp

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2004
Oh My! This dish was fanstastic!! My family LOVED it! I will definitely make it again. I substitued 1/2 cup of milk (in lieu of using 2 full cups of heavy cream, 1.5 cups cream, .5 of milk), and took off a tbsp of butter ....I was trying to make it less atery clogging! I LOVED THIS Dish, can't wait to eat the leftovers for lunch!

I give this 5 stars only because of my addition. I have made this before, and not been impressed with it. But I added 1 drained can of Rotel Original (tomatoes and chilies. It added just the "kick" this recipe needs! My husband and I pratically inhaled it, it was so good! Hahahaha

Corned Beef and Cabbage I

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2003
This was really good. The corned beef turned out dry, so I don't know if 50 min per lb was too long, but still it was tasty. I used red cabbage to add color to the plate. I made this as a surprise on the one year anniversary of our trip to Ireland. My husband was very pleased!

Banana Banana Bread

I think this is awesome! I, too added some changes. I put 3 bananas in my food processor, and blended, then I took a fourth and chopped it. I added a tsp. of cinnamon, 1/4 cup of milk and 1/3 or white sugar. It cooked for a little over an hour, and came out awesome!
