Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: May 25, 2008
This recipe wasn't as good as I antcipated it being but it was tasty all the same. I used the leftover bread crumb mixture with a pound of frozen cut green beans and sauteed them in butter over medium heat for a few minutes. It was a perfect compliment to the chicken.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: May 25, 2008
Excellent recipe! I used granny smith apples instead of golden delicious, however. TO make the cinnamon chips, I stacked my tortillas and cut the stack into six triangles each, placed them on a cookie sheet, sprayed them with PAM, and sprinkled the cinnamon sugar on them. Next time I will probably coat both sides of the chips as they turned out rather bland.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Delicious and easy. Instead of choc chips I used Ande's mint and chocolate chips and it was wonderful.

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2008
Yum. Does not serve 4 though! I doubled the recipe and it fed 3 of us with 2 pancakes left over. I am still looking for something a little less dense but these are good anyway. Definitely better than the box mix. I added chocolate chips to the last bit of batter and made a few that way. We at them for breakfast yesterday and now my toddler is eating a beanut butter and chocolate chip pancake sandwich for a "special" lunch.

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2008
This was pretty good, very good actually. My husband and I both are tolerant of Sloppy Joes but not big fans and I now know that it was because it wasn't from scratch ;-) I did add a teaspoon and a half of white vinegar just because I could tell from the smell that it would be a little too sweet for me, and after that it was perfect. Also very easy...I made it while playing referee between our toddler and 12 week old puppy :) I served it on toasted hamburger rolls with steak fries for an easy lazy night dinner.

Puppy Chow

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2007
Yum. I used milk chocolate chips, and melted them with the PB in the microwave...so much easier. I also added about 1/8 C butter. Took to a company party and it was gobbled up.

The Best Banana Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2007
Not the best, but pretty good with a few changes that were suggested by other reviewers. I added 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tbs cinnamon, used 1/2 white sugar, 1/2 brown. I didn't measure my banana, but I used 4. It baked for about 55 minutes, and I had to cover it after about 35 mins because it was browning too quickly, probably my oven though. I think this would probably be very bland as written. Also, definitely better after being refrigerated overnight, it wasn't very good still warm from the oven for some reason. Quick and easy to mix up, and good enough to eat.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Absolutely delicious. Very good right out of the oven, and still soft and chewy the next day. Very sweet, but hey, it's a cookie! Just what I was looking for. Definitely a keeper.

Pumpkin Layer Cheesecake

DELICIOUS. It cracked in the oven, but I'm sure that was something I did. The perfect mix of pumpkin and cheesecake. And very easy to prepare.
