Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
this was so good and simple. i put em in frozen first thing in the morning and just let them go on low for about 9 hours.. paired it up wiht the octoberfest potato salad.. put it on a bun with a slice of cheese and red onion.. too good! thanks for the great recipe.. also.. i used cattlemans bbq sauce.. whichi really don't like much as a dipping sauce but it actually worked well as the sauce for this recipe.

This is a really great way to prepare chops. The only thing i changed was i cut out the onion as they upset my hubby's stomach and just used onion salt instead.

Slow Cooker Reuben Dip

This is a gr8 recipe. I did take someones advise to use mozzorella in it as well as the swiss as you can never put too much cheese in any recipe!!! it was absolutely delicious .. oh and DO NOT use canned corned beef.. it's just as nasty as spam.. I used deli corned beef and it turned out great!

Pan Seared Lemon Tilapia with Parmesan Pasta

Reviewed: May 18, 2009
Very simple and very good. I doubled everything and was engough for three people. I also used shredded Parmesan about a cup worth, the wife and I have a cheese thing. Worth making again, if you like seasoning just add more then a pinch I think thats why some felt it was too blan.

Best Hot Crab Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2009
I feel bad for giving this recipe such a poor rating but it was just not for me. I really feel bad for wasting the lump crab meat my father hand picked and froze for me. Here's the thing. I love crab. I love the way it tastes and when I eat something with crab, I want crab to be the primary taste in the dish. The garlic, capers, and saltiness just totally took away from crab. I actually felt very dehydrated after eating it.. This dip just wasn't for us.

It was very tasty, but I couldn't get it to thicken. If I let it cool it got thick, but as soon as I heated it up, it was liquid.

Very Easy Shrimp Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2008
I'm giving this recipe 5 stars for a few reasons. It is sooo easy to make.. i think it took me about 5 whole minutes. It's a great seafood dip for a fraction of the cost of some other seafood dips we love such as crab dip but it is just as good. Everybody loved it and ate it up. Already planning on using for my next party..

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2008
This soup is freak'n awesome. My wife had mentioned while we were in a restaurant about baked potato soup so I looked it up. This recipe caught my eye, I tell you what it barely makes it out of the pan before I start sampling it! I substitute green onion for the parsley and add about 1 tablespoon of butter when adding the flour. Other then that you cant go wrong with this one. If you dont like this get your taste buds checked out! Two thumbs way up !!

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2008
This is sooo delicious. I used the chicken for the Simple, Classic Chicken Potpie recipe and it was soooo yummy. The chicken was very moist and I literally could have just sat there and ate just chicken for a meal it was so good and yet so simple to make. I had to make one adjustment to the recipe though.. I did not have onion powder so I ended up using a packet of the dry onion soup mix which still worked out great.

Simple, Classic Chicken Potpie

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2008
Wow.. this is really the best chicken potpie. I followed everything the recipe called for except I sauteed the celery and onions in my drippings from the chicken I roasted..(I used the Juicy Roasted Chicken recipe which I really think made a HUGE difference.. the chicken was phenomenal).. I ended up doubling everything up and freezing the other two pies.. I gave the one pie to my sister-in-law and brother who just had a baby...can't wait to eat em again!
