Restaurant Style Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2008
Did not come out good. Tasted kind of plastic-y - it must have been the fake cheese.

Key Lime Cheesecake I

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2008
EVERYONE loves this in my family! The coolwhip topping was perfect, a little too bitter without it. I also like cooling the cake and making a sweet creamcheese layer to balance the lime.

Lemon Pasta Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2008
This is a great recipe. The only thing I added was a teaspoon or so of sugar. I teamed this with the "Garlic-Lemon Double Stuffed Chicken" recipe also from this site. I nested the chicken on the pasta topped with the sauce and plated it with steamed broccoli/carrot vegi combo. It looked great and tasted better!

Mediterranean Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2008
This is absolutely delicious! I tried this out at a graduation party for my son...I never test drive recipes at things like that. But, I have to say I did and it was a complete hit! Many asked for the recipe. Hockeymom you are a star! I used GOOD SEASONS ITALIAN DRESSING and toasted a whole small pkg. of pita bread (ripped up) and threw them in. It is very similar to a Lebanese Bread Salad. (Fattoush) We loved it thanks!

Blueberry Pie

This was okay. The flavor was very good but my pie turned out pretty runny as some others said too! Will have to up the amount of cornstarch if I try again.

Rhubarb Dream Bars

Reviewed: May 20, 2008
OMG! My husband who rarely gets excited about stuff like new recipes said that this was "a keeper!" I followed some of the suggestions of other cooks...used a generous 2 1/2 cups of sugar (instead of 3 )and probably a little more rhubarb (5 cups?). Also baked for about 10 mins. more the center custard seemed very loose at 35 mins. I would follow another suggestion to PAM the sides of the pan...I cut along the edges when they were hot so that they wouldn't stick too much. These are deliciousssss! Best if eaten the day you make them... they get a little runny as time goes on.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: May 20, 2008
These were easy and very good. I did the non-machine kind and followed another cooks directions...made them into 16 balls. I subbed honey for the sugar and smart balance for the butter(I always do that!). The only thing I would do differently is either grease the cookie sheet or spread a little corn meal on it so they don't stick. These are easy and delicious!

Caesar Salad Supreme

Reviewed: May 20, 2008
This definitely a 5 star recipe...I only gave it 4 because it was very garlicy!! We LOVE garlic, but this was HOT! I think that I will try it again without using the largest cloves or maybe just use 2 as suggested by others! I used the 1/2 cup mayo and a 1/4 cup of greek yogurt and 2 tsp. of anchovy paste...it was just right! Absolutely delicious! Thank you Karen.

I make these all the time without the chips. I get migranes from chocolate, so I can have these heavenly treats and not feel the pain.
