Raspberry Cream Cheese Coffee Cake

Reviewed on Apr. 29, 2008 by JFHVT
I made this recipe ...but it was from a friend . I have to say, thought that the cske part was a little dry...the filling is delish though. This would be good for a brunch dish. We actually had it for dessert.

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Reviewed on Apr. 29, 2008 by JFHVT
I have to admit, I was trying too many new recipes at once and goofed a little on this one. I picked apart a store bought rotisserie chic. and then marinated it in italian dressing. (Very good idea if you plan on adding it to a pasta salad, by the way:).)Made the dressing in this recipe with vanilla-fig balsamic and 1/4 cup sugar... everything else the same. I toasted the almonds which to me really brings out their flavor. So, in the end, I had the spinach, strawberries, toasted almonds, I added feta cheese and the dressing and then topped it with the marinated chicken. It was a complete meal and everyone loved it! What a yummy combo! Thanks for sharing such a great salad.

Red Chard and Caramelized Onions

Reviewed on Apr. 29, 2008 by JFHVT
Judging from the other reviews...I am in the minority here as far as rating this recipe goes....I think that it took a good amount of time to get the onions just right...should have eaten them that way...instead of wasting all the other ingredients! Sorry, it tasted way too earthy for our likes!
