Butter, cream, egg yolk and two kinds of cheese are cooked together with a dash of freshly ground nutmeg to make a luxurious, classic Alfredo sauce. Buy a whole nutmeg and grate only as much as you need. The unmistakable flavor is well worth it.

This rump roast in mushroom soup and beef broth is tender and very moist. It's made in the slow cooker, and is very easy to make. Raw vegetables, such as carrots and potatoes, may be added at the start of the cooking time, if desired. My whole family loves this recipe. The leftovers also make great roast beef sandwiches.

These pork chops are light but very tasty! The longer you marinate your pork, the better it tastes. And it's baked, so a lot of the pork fat is baked right off! Serve with a fresh garden salad and mashed potatoes for a terrific meal.
