Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
These are fabulous!! I've done chocolate fudge cake with cream cheese frosting, coated with semi sweet chips, their like fudge truffles!!! I've also done white cake w/ coconut pecan frosing, and white choc coating. Yellow cake mix w/ choc and vanilla frosing mixed together dipped in chocolate. YUM, YUM!

Beer Bread I

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2008
I just wanted to tell everyone that this is the best Beer Bread ever! I used the flour variation, 3 Tbs. of sugar, and a few Tbs. of melted butter over the top. Better than Tastfully Simple!! P.S. I used Light Heinekin, I would like to try an apple spiced beer for the holidays.

These Whoopie Pies were the best! I used the jello mix, and 3/4 cups of water, along with other directions and they were perfect! The cream I used a different recipe, but all in all they were just like a bakery Whoopie Pie.

Chili Mac Casserole

This was very tasty with a few minor adjustments, I ended up using more chili powder, and did not bake in the oven in the end, just put a cover on the cassa role dish and put it in the oven on warm until the cheese melted. That way he noodle are not over cooked. My hubby loved it!

These were really good, little bit of a different texture though, smooth and soft, I guess is a good way to describe them. Will make them again.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2008
These cookies are delicious, I didn't use 2 tsp. of vanilla, just one. Also, more like 2 1/2 cups of flour. They were a little flat, but that's because I used margarine instead of butter.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2008
So easy and good. You almost always have everything on hand, so you can whip up a quick batch nice and quick. My husbands favorite is sugar cookies, so this is perfect, and he loves these. I don't smush them down with sugar though because if you leave them in a ball as they cook, they are nice and chewy in the middle.

Peanut Butter Bars I

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2008
OKey, so I made these the other day, and I was kinda dissapointed. For one... Way to much butter, maybe you need half that. I used 1 cup, and my "crust" was more like "mush". Maybe not so much sugar, too. 1 1/2 cups insead. So even after they were chilled, they were a bit hard to get out of the bowl in one piece. However, the flavor was so good, just like a PB cup. If you alter the recipe a bit, and your a die hard PB and choc, fan like me... You'll love it. I will try this one again.

My 5 kids love this recipe and they now call it "Thanksgiving in a bucket"...don't ask, I have no idea! The flavors mix so well together and really compliment one another. The Craisins give it just the kick it needs. This is a keeper.

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

Reviewed: May 27, 2008
I wish I could rate this higher..I love this salad! I read through many of the reviews, and here is how I proceeded. I used fresh strawberries, fresh blueberries, mandarin oranges and sliced almonds...fantasic! For the dressing I used the balsamic vinegar and olive oil, paparika, worchestire sauce, 2 Tbs. of Splenda also used less onion (about 2 Tbs.), as suggested... I will be making this again. Actually, I will having this for lunch toaday and may even add some roasted chicken. Thank you...love this recipe.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: May 21, 2008
These brownies are delicious. Instead of using the chocolate glaze, I took 1/2 cup PB with a little butter melted it together and swirled it into the brownie mix, right before cooking. Really Good! Def... double the recipe, it only makes a 16 really small squares.

Black Bean, Corn and Turkey Chili

Reviewed: May 19, 2008
This chili was very tasty. I did, however, changed it a little bit, only because I had to work with what I had on hand. I used ground chicken instead of turkey, sub. fresh chopped garlic for the powder, used 1 can of chopped tom. with chilis in replace of the salsa, a little red wine, and used creamed corn. I wasn't sure how it would turn out, I have to say, it was very good. I made it the night before, so the flavors could develop.Healthy.

White Bean Turkey Chili

This was more like a soup than a chili. I loved the flavor, but maybe next time I would use less beef broth, 2 cups instead, and maybe some cornstarch to thicken it up.
