Awesome Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: May 11, 2002
I only used 1 cup of oil, added 3/4 of shredded coconut, and used 1 3/4 of powdered sugar in the frosting. PERFECT! Great cake, made it for Mother's Day and everyone enjoyed it. Thanks!

Cinnamon Rolls III

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2002
These were not anything to write home about. Took too long to make, and didn't even come close to the ones they were compared to. Save yourself the time and energy, quit being a cheap skate and go buy a box of the Entemann's Ultimate Cinnamon Rolls. Much better, much easier.

Adobo Chicken with Ginger

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2002
Extremely easy. I used cubed boneless, skinless breasts. Very fragrant. My only question is: Where's the Adobo in this recipe???

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2001
These are by far the best brownies I've ever eaten, hands down! I didn't make the frosting, instead I tossed in some walnuts and chocolate chips. They came out moist, fudgy and absolutely fabulous! I've made these twice this weekend and already they're begging for more! Thank you for a wonderful recipe!!!!

Pretty decent. The best part is the gravy.

Creamy Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2001
These were very easy to make. I used about half the amount of onion it called for and used a combination of sweet relish and regular relish instead of the chopped pickle. I also topped them with a sprig of fresh dill. Everyone said they were good. I personally hate eggs, so I'm going by what they said :)

Chewiest Brownies

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2001
This was the most disgusting brownie I have ever put in my mouth. They are gritty and have too much cocoa in them. I had to drink nearly 3 glasses of milk and brush my teeth twice before the taste was out of my mouth. YEEEEUCK!!!

Cinnamon Bread I

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2001
This bread is fantastic! I can't believe how easy it was to make, and the results are incredible! I even did the milk and vinegar trick. My bread came out delicious and rose quite high!! You could do any number of variations on this one...personally, I am going to try adding some orange zest and see what I come out with. I love the topping, but next time, I will add more simply because it's so yummy! Thank you for a wonderful recipe! I'm planning on baking several loaves of this for gifts at Christmas time! :-)

I don't know what everyone else is raving about. I could definitely taste the presence of beer in this recipe. I would cut the amount by half. Nothing worth singing about.

Fragrant Lemon Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2001
This is one nasty recipe! Chicken was bland, and as soon as I tried to lift the bird out of the pot, it fell apart into one big pile of mush and bones. YECH!! Only good thing about this whole recipe is that it's easy.
