Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2008
This is a super easy, majorly delicious dish. This will be a weekly meal at our house. Our children LOVED it & I loved that they were getting their Omega 3's! I did reduced the butter, mayo and cheese by half, it was more than enough!

Banana Muffins II

All I can say is YUM! My kids love these. I added mini-chocolate chips and made mini muffins...I left one pan in the oven too long and they were still delicious. I will definitely make again.

Devil's Steak Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2008
I thought this recipe was just okay. Perhaps the raving reviews from others raised my expectations. I actually preferred my grilled steak simply seasoned with salt and pepper and without the sauce. My husband liked it better than I did.

Loved the recipe but I will add more banana next time. Also, I subsituted the nuts with chunky chocolate chips. Yum!

Easy Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
I needed a quick and easy recipe for my daughter's first grade holiday brunch at school. I was amazed at how good they tasted. I wasn't expecting much considering the ingredients,(I used canned pumpking and a spice cake mix) but the tray was empty. I will make them again and again.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2007
Wow! This chicken came out so moist and flavorful! This was my first time roasting a whole chicken and it came out awesome! I cooked 1 4lb ckn and took the other reviewers advice and cooked it at 300* for 2 and half hours. My only complaint was that it came out a little too spicy for my liking... but other than that it was delicious! Will def make again!

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2007
MMMM!! Made these for Christmas dinner and everyone loved them! Made a few changes though; I used a 5LB bag of potatoes and I added 5 cloves of minced garlic, 1 stick of butter, 1 cup of sour cream, 2 cups of Romano cheese and about 1 cup of milk and they came out not too garlikey and super creamy! Will def make again!

Eileen's Spicy Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2007
WOW! pleasantly surprised! I cooked the first batch for 8 minutes and they seem soft, so next batch I will try 10 minutes and see what happens. But the taste is superb! First time I made them and the dough is perfect. You just need very little flour and I mean very little! I used a frosting from this site as well, which turned out good! Thanks for the recipe.

Ricotta Cookies II

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2007
I think this recipe is terrific. The only additional flour I needed was that to coat my hands. The texture of the cookies is remarkable....so soft and fluffy, like delicate pillows. Half are gone even before frosting. A great break from chocolate!

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2007
This recipe was fun and easy! I had never made fudge before and I had no problem. I did follow other's adjustments and used the 3 cups of powdered sugar version. I can see how others would have problems with the sugar getting "pebbly" but after a minute or so with my hand mixer, most of them disappeared. I didn't try this, but possibly if the powdered sugar was sifted it could help with that issue? All in all, very good recipe. I made it for a co-worker for his birthday and everyone at the office enjoyed it.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2007
This is everything a NY cheesecake should be. Tall, dense, rich, creamy. I baked mine with a pan of hot water on the shelf below the cheesecake - this step helps to enhance the creamy texture. The only change I will try next time is baking at 325 as my edges came out a little brown. This recipe is a keeper though - one that will be treasured!
