Chicken and Garlic Stew

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2005
WoW! I love garlic but I had to pick my mouth up from the ground after reading the amount of garlic...I made this recipe in a 9 x 13 pan instead of a pot....It turned out excellent .....and next time I will use boneless... Thank you...

This was just ok. Suace ended up a little too sweet and the flavor was not to our family's liking.

Barbequed Thai Style Chicken

This is delicious! My boyfriend dislikes fish sauce, so I used this soy sauce based stuff called Dragon Sauce, which I found at the grocery store. I will definitely make this again soon!

Jamaican Jerk Pork Chops with Island Salsa

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2005
I've always been wary about mixing fruit with meat, it just sounds wierd. This is the first recipe I've tried with that combo and I have to say it is DELICIOUS! The only change I made is that I grill the chops, then simmer in the salsa. Also, adding orange peppers accentuates the beautiful array of colors. I will definitely make this a regular dish!

Black Bean Soup II

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2005
This soup is way too watery. It had absolutely no flavor. It should have been made with only half the water. I would suggest using a dry chili seasoning mix instead of the cumin. You can add to your own taste. It is sold in mild, medium and hot. The soup was much too thin. Thickened up, and seasoned properly, this will be great! You can even add some cooked white rice to thicken it up. It would be more filling, too!

This was a great way to use up leftover turkey! I left out the potatoes, because there were none left from Thanksgiving, and it was still delicious!
