About me:
I have traveled around the country working in kitchens and cooking for campers at a number of Christian camps. I've cooked at High Point Camp, Camp Joy, The Wilds, Camp Eden, and Camp Lucerne. I started cooking for large groups when I was in High School. I worked the dinner shift at Old Counrty Buffet in East Caln, PA. I cooked steam side, oven side, and bakery. My favorite night was the night our patron count was over 1,000. I was on steam side that night and made 60 gallons of chicken noodle soup, and over 100 pounds of BBQ ribs. It was a great night!

Absolutely delish! All I did was add 1/2 tsp vanilla and 2 tblsp. brown sugar. My guest loved it!!

Too dry. Needs fat. I made a recipe myself once and just cannot remember how I made it. This was not it!

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed on Oct. 20, 2009 by ItalianFoodie
I make this all the time, but I make it the day before, put the crock pot in the frig(side porch in winter) and remove the fat before reheating and serving. I like Penzey's Tuscan seasoning (about 1/4 c.) better than the dressing mix. You can add 1/2 the seasoning an hour before the dish is done to get a brighter flavor.
