Tomato Vodka Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2007
This recipe is incredible, but a bit too rich. In order to tone it down a little, I use light cream instead of heavy whipping cream. Also, I like a vodka sauce that is heavier on the vodka, so I double up vodka.

Cream of Spinach Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2007
I have made this recipe a few times, and each time it comes out excellent. The only thing I changed is that I use two bouillon cubes instead of three, as well as two tablespoons butter instead of three, because it tends to be very, very rich otherwise.

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

I enjoyed the recipe very much, but I feel it was a bit rich. I would reduce the amount of sour cream next time.

Asparagus Supreme

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2006
I really liked the versatility of this recipe. I made it for a large family party and everyone really enjoyed it, but of course I would have changed a few things. I think the asparagus, as well as the other vegetables, could have been marinated and I think the rice needs some more zing (cook with chicken broth and seasonings maybe). Next time I'm going to add some broc.

Best Ever Butter Cream Frosting

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2006
This recipe is wonderful. Though the frosting is rich, it isn't too sweet. I usually hate frosting - way too sugary - and this was really excellent. I will certainly make it again.

Garlic Cheese Grits with Shrimp

Loved it but I switched some things up that topped it off. I used milk instead of water and yellow grits and put a lot of cheese in it. That made it just perfect

Ani's mother would probabably kill her for divulging the formula... my grandmother never wrote them out! This is a great recipe. Only problem was the dough was too soupy, I had to add about 1 to 2 cups of flour (to the halved recipe) Norm Grandparents were the Azadians, Syracuse, NY
