Easy and Elegant Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
Very moist and tender. I seasoned with Salt, pepper and italian seasonings. The reason I gave it 4 stars (I wish there were 4 1/2) was when I cut the meat the "crust" fell off. It was sticky enough to stick to it to bake. I will make it again and and maybe add more oil. Thank you for a twist to pork tenderloin!

This cheesecake is FANTASTIC! I don't top it with the Cool Whip, though. I serve it with either frozen raspberries or frozen strawberries in syrup. Everyone really enjoys this! :)

Pesto-Stuffed Pork Chops with Caramelized Onions

Fair recipe! Please make fresh pesto! The store bought stuff is NOT good- lacks the flavor and has way too much salt! Pesto is fast and easy to prepare and will make this fair recipe a star.

Cappuccino in a Jar

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2009
Really YUMMY! I was tired of paying through the teeth for those small containers of cappuccino mix and decided to try making my own. I made the recipe exactly as written and it totally fit the bill and was really to our tastes. This would be great with other flavors of powdered creamer as well. I can't wait to expierement more. This is now my new cappuccino stand-by! Thanks so much for posting. :)

Chocolate Babka

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2009
Wow...this bread tastes amazing! I really thought it wasn't going to turn out because of multiple mishaps on my part. I was also a bit concerned because the recipe calls for just dry active yeast, not fast acting, and the directions don't tell you to proof the yeast. My bread actually didn't rise that much, let alone double in size before punching it down, but I decided to follow through with the recipe anyway, and I'm glad I did!

Easy Pancakes

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2009
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PANCAKE RECIPE EVERRRRRR!!! One Saturday morning I found myself with a house full of hungry teenagers and nothing but eggs and bacon in the fridge. And I was in no mood to scramble or over-easy ANYTHING. In a panic, I grabbed my Google phone - I have this site saved on my phone's bookmarks- and thankfully found this recipe. I DIDN'T change a thing. And I gotta tell ya, we all agreed that they were better than...can't believe I'm going to say this...IHOP!!! Seriously! Smothered in butter and maple syrup, you won't find a better or easier recipe for pancakes.

Apple Crumb Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
very good! I used a homemade buttermilk crust recipe in a 9.5 inch pie plate. turned out very well would certainly make again. omitted raisins and walnuts per request. I selected this recipe over others because it does not call for crazy amounts of butter, like others I found and requires no precooking of the apples. might have to add this to my Christmas baking list! thanks for sharing!

Mama's Easy Awesome Meat Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
I always make my meat sauce this way and it's super simple and delicious! Instead of slicing my onion, I chop it small and I usually use the Ragu Mushroom Sauce. Sometimes I'll even use 1/2 ground beef and 1/2 ground hot or sweet sausage. This recipe is a definate family pleaser! :)

Northwest Steakhouse Steak Marinade

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
Best steak marinade I have tried. So juicy and moist! I broiled it in the oven (it's too cold to grill) and I haven't invested in a cast iron pan yet...I can only imagine what this tastes like grilled. My fiance said it was better than Ruth Chris! I used a New York Strip. THANK YOU for this recipe!

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
This was a nice twist on the same old lasagna. I simmered the chicken breasts in chicken broth (with added herbs and spices) then reduced a little bit to provide the 2 cups worth for the sauce. I also used 2 small bags of fresh spinach. I just sauteed until wilted with a couple cloves of garlic. I also added an egg, some italian seasoning and dash of salt and sugar to the riocotta mixture. Overall, very nice!
