Blueberry Pinwheels

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
I made these minus the blueberries (I just wanted to make a standard sweet roll). They turned out really well. My dad polished off a pan of 12 in a day! I had extra butter so I brushed it on top of the rolls before their second rise. The yeast didn't proof for me, so I started again and it still didn't proof like normal but I decided to try anways and they did end up rising (lesson learned: don't waste a 12 oz can of evaporated milk and almost a stick of butter)!

Irresistible Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
Pretty good. Served it with honey butter. I'm not sure if I failed to knead it long enough but it came out with a biscuit type of texture, which was good but not quite what I was expecting!

I love these! They're good as is, but you can also play around with them...I've add mashed bananas and also used applesauce instead of oil. They also come out soft and moist.

I wasn't really crazy about the flavor, but that's just because I'm not a huge fan of cooking with beer, but with that being said, everyone else loved this and thought the flavor was great.

I think this is a really good base recipe that needs to be spiced up a bit. It's super easy, though, and fast!

Pasta With Tuna Sauce

This is pretty good, especially for a really quick dinner. I added some parmesan cheese to the sauce because after tasting it as is, I felt it needed something a little extra.

Spinach Lentil Soup

This is so good and easy...I've made this with both water and chicken broth, and I definitely recommend using chicken broth because it really boosts the flavor. I've also added turkey kielbasa, and it's delicious.

This is really fantastic, and I will definitely make this again! The only addition I made was adding some mushrooms and about 1/4 cup red wine. The amount of flour is perfect.

I'm not a huge mint chocolate fan, but these are really great. The cookie is soft with just the right amount of chocolate. These cookies also freeze really well.

Butter Pecan Tartlets

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
These are good! They have a nice flavor although they are pretty sweet, but I guess that's the nature of pecan pie. They're actually not too difficult to make, but it was kind of tricky getting them out of the tins. I flash froze them before removing them, and that seemed to help. They freeze really well.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
These are pretty good. They have a nice pumpking flavor, but they're pretty mild in the spice department. Although they are cakey (almost like pumpkin bread in cookie form,) I thought they were just a tad bit dry in spite of trying out different baking times.

Angel Food Candy

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
I was kind of nervous about making this because I've never made candy before, but it really was quite simple! And, it's delicious! It tastes a lot like Crunchies, a favorite of mine. I took other reviewers advice and sifted the baking soda, and i think it really is important to be patient when it comes to the candy reaching 300 degrees.

Fudge, quick and easy

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
This fudge was truely "quick AND easy"! I did a two-tone version with vanilla chips and strawberry frosting for the bottom layer and milk chocolate chips, chocolate frosting and nuts for the top layer. I was very pleasantly surprised with the creamy taste and smooth texture. I can't wait to try other flavor combos. Thank You, Kitten for such a great recipe! :)

Parmesan Broccoli Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
I made these tonight as a side dish for our chicken dinner and they were very tasty! Mine turned out a little dry, but that was my fault for trying to *healthify* them. I used about 1-1/4 cups egg beaters instead of the whole eggs and didn't add the butter at all, which is probably why they ended up a little dry, but the flavor was great! I will definately make these again using the original recipe (and the healthified one when I need to)! Thanks for posting. :)

Fantasy Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
This is my most favorite fudge EVER! I make this every year and usually end up having to do several batches (all different flavors), to accommodate everyone's demand for it. I originally got the recipe from my mom who got it off of the marshmallow creme jar. It's wonderful and you will not be disappointed with this AT ALL! :)

Pistachio Eclair Dessert

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2009
This is soooo YUMMY! I make this every year for St. Patrick's Day dessert and when I make it any other time I usually sub vanilla pudding for the pistachio with equally delicious results. I usually make this a day in advance to allow the graham crackers to soften for easier cutting. Who knew that such simple ingredients coud make such a tasty treat!? :)
