Pumpkin Sheet Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2007
I made this cake quick the other day just before leaving for work so, it was still slightly warm when I arrived. I put the icing on it when I arrived there and it was GONE within an hour. My co-workers "LOVED" it and everyone wanted the recipe. The only thing I did differently was, I also added 1 and 1/2 teas. of pumpkin pie spice. This cake truly is better than pumpkin pie! It's very moist and rich and the cream cheese icing adds just the right touch!

Sweet Corn Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2007
Everybody is right! This recipe rocks. Like others suggested, I added 1/2 c. sugar instead of just a 1/4. I've been looking for a recipe that is moist and sweet...this is it!

Grandma's Gingersnaps

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2006
These gingersnaps rock! If you're debating on which recipe to choose; this is the one. I followed this recipe almost exactly except instead of rolling the dough in cinnamon sugar, I chose to use sanding sugar. It gives the cookie a bit more texture and it looks really good too.

Basic Cheese Polenta

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2006
Thank you SOoooo much for answering a question I've had for a long time! I just KNEW that I didn't need to be buying the over-priced "polenta" packages! I KNEW there HAD to be a cheaper way of making it myself! Turns out, polenta is really same thing as a childhood favorite: Cornmeal Mush!! Many thanks!!

Potato and Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2006
I was disappointed. It took nearly TWO HOURS for the potatoes be cooked. I think the oven should be set at AT LEAST 350 degrees.

A-Number-1 Banana Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2005
This truly is a terrific recipe and very versatile. I use it to make banana whoopie pies with peanutbutter filling. They're better than peanutbutter and banana sandwiches! Thanks for sharing Ryan.

Flaming Doctor Pepper I

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2005
This is a good recipe, but my version uses rootbeer schnapps instead of amaretto. Be careful, they are powerful. If you want to remember the party don't drink more than two!!

Pumpkin Cookie Dip

This is a great, easy recipe. To make it extra special serve it in a small hollowed out pumpkin. The best cookies to serve with are gingersnaps!

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2004
This recipe is awesome! I make it for my two picky children often. My daughter calls it corn cake. If there happens to be leftovers, it's good for breakfast with a little maple syrup on top.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2003
I have been searching for a good chocolate chip cookie recipe for a long time...I have found the best! These are fantastic. My family loves them. The only things I changed on the recipe was to use salted margarine and omitted the salt from the recipe. I also doubled the recipe and used one bag of semi-sweet chips and one bag of milk chocolate mini kisses. I say it again; they're fantastic.
