About me:
I am a 24 year old male living in southern Pennsylvania with my beautiful wife and daugther. I have been cooking ever since I was a little boy. My mom was not fond of cooking but my dad loved it and passed his passion for cooking and love of food on to me. He taught me a lot of techniques and cooking basics by just watching, learning, and pitching in when I was needed. My dad unexpectedly passed away in 2004 but I try to cook all my dishes as if he were grading not only the quality of the food but the presentation.

Whoopie Pies I

The whoopie pies themselves were more of a cookie texture, not exactly what we consider a whoopie pie in PA.

French Toast Casserole

Reviewed on Jan. 2, 2010 by Cupcake Queen
Made this recipe for the first time on Christmas, it was delicious! I used cinnamon swirl bread and made a fresh blueberry topping. While the french toast casserole itself was good, it was much better with the fruit topping; that is why I gave it 4 stars.

Ham Roll Ups I

Reviewed on Jan. 2, 2010 by Cupcake Queen
My great aunt made a similar recipe to this every year for our family Christmas party. I don't have her recipe and was trying this one to see if it was the same as hers, but the filling in these is too runny. The flavor was good, but they are difficult to cut for hors d'oeuvres. Next time I will use a very small amount of sour cream.
