Pesto Turkey Burgers

Excellent. I did cut down the pesto some, because I like a more subtle flavor.

Easy and Elegant Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2008
This recipe is a keeper! After reading reviews, I decided to add a little salt, pepper & garlic powder to the pork before rolling it in the olive oil and then through the breadcrumbs. I also added grated parmesan to the italian style bread crumbs and put aluminum foil on the bottom of my baking sheet for easy clean-up. The other thing, and I think this was most important - TENT ALUMINUM FOIL OVER THE TOP for the first 27 or so minutes because if I hadn't done that, I'm quite sure the entire topping would have been burned. Anyway, this was absolutely delicious and very moist. My boyfriend enjoyed it so much that he requested a repeat performance next week.

Came out great! I did have to add more mayo but that might be because I left out the relish (bf doesn't like it.) Will definitely make this again!

Stuffed Pork Chops III

This is the first time I've made pork chops that didn't come out too dry. They were delicious and thanks to a few reviewers, I thickened the sauce a little with flour and it made a great tasting gravy.

These came out creamier and more delicious than any mashed potatoes I've ever eaten. Thanks for the warming of the milk tip...I'd never have thought of that!

Brisket with Cranberry Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2008
VERY tender made this way. The sauce was a teeny bit bland for my taste; next time, I might try using my homemade whole-berry cranberry sauce instead of the canned. It might also have benefited from a squirt of lemon juice in the sauce before pouring it over the meat.

Tender Beef Brisket

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2008
While this was very TASTY, it wasn't the TENDEREST brisket I've ever made. I used brown sugar instead of white, and I threw in a dozen or so baby Red Bliss potatoes; they soaked up the flavor of the sauce and came out scrumptious.

Apple Scones

Ok, just a little tip... freeze the butter well, then grate it into the dry ingredients, then mix well... it's easier than cutting it in, and incorporates it easier into the mix. This step takes little effort and maximum results, it's how I always "cut-in" butter to a recipe... Oh yeah, I usually mix it into the dry ingredients by hand, mush it and mix it till combined....

I didn't have cheddar, so used velveeta, also added grated swiss, and Monteray Jack/mixed with colby, also put a pinch of cayenne and ground dry mustard, melted some butter with a bit of milk, seemed a bit dry without it. REALLY GREAT! Thanks for sharing

there were a few tweaks i made, in reference to what other people had said and this turned out to be awesome! definetly make extra sauce. i never liked meatloaf before till i made this, the sour cream sauce makes a big diff. My husband loved it as well! i served it with butter noodles and a brocoli/cauliflower side dish. was a nice compliment. thank you1

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2008
I made this a couple times while living in Hawaii and my husband and family said it was better than what they had at the luau. I used the white hawaiian rock salt, never saw any red or black there. Also one time i substitued apple cider for water and turned out good, i would say cut down on the salt though. But tore apart easily and very yummy! Goes great with rice or glass noodles and haupia if you can get some.

Steak Tip Marinade

Thought this was a little too sweet for beef, but I will definitely try again with chicken this time. Good recipe, I guess I'm just not a huge fan of "sweeter" marinades on beef. Bring on the salt for me.

Chicken Dumpling Strips

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2008
Yummy! I do this in all my chicken soup recipes now.... Even my father who said "those aren't the real kind of dumpling, like my mother used to make" came back for more. When I told him I was making these again tonight, I was asked to bring a bowl to his house! My 8 year picky eater and husband, also picky, both gobble these up. Thanks for a keeper...

Sweet Grilled Steak Bites

The marinade is delicious, but stew beef needs long slow cooking to make it tender. I used a thick ribeye steak, which I cut into 1 1/2" cubes at home before marinating.
