Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2009
This recipe is great. My husband loves it and will eat it as often as I make it! It is a great dip to serve guests or to bring to parties. I use 1 1/2 cups blue cheese dressing and leave out the ranch dressing and the celery and it's still delicious.

Everyone here loved it. The dough was hard to work with though. Think I'll try a diffrent dough next time. When we were eating dinner last night my son asked when I was gonna make this again! That's a first. Thanks.

Fried Chicken Coating

I double dipped the chicken: egg-milk, flour, egg-milk and flour. I liked this way and definitely will do it again. I did not use the mustard ingredient because I do not buy the product. Very tastefull.

Zucchini Bread IV

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
Simply amazing! I only made one small change and that was cutting the oil down to 1/2 cup and adding 1/2 c unsweetened applesauce in it's place. I only had 1 loaf pan so instead of 2 loaves I made 1 and a dozen muffins (muffins only needed 30 min to cook). My 2 year old loved them and my parents just happened to stop over just as they came out of the oven, and they raved about them! This is a keeper :)

Chicken and Bowtie Pasta with Asiago Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2009
Very tasty. Used half and half. Increased chicken to 1.5 pounds, mushrooms to 2 containers of presliced from the prodoce dept and more prosciutto and it made a TON OF FOOD! I needed a little more sauce for the dish since I increased some of the ingredients so I added a bit of parmesan since I ran out of asiago. Turned out wonderful... a real hit at this house!

The Whole Jar of Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2009
Very tasty! I undercooked as recommended. I also suggest leaving on the cookie sheet a few minutes to cool before transferring to the cooling rack. The second time I made them I added chocolate chips and they were very good also! One more tip I followed was to roll dough in a tube to chill and then slice to bake. Worked well with less fuss and mess.

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2009
I was really skeptical about mixing the teriyaki sauce with the ranch sauce but once again, Allrecipes did not fail me! Based on the reviews, I just had to try this recipe and it was DELICIOUS! I didn't fry the chicken first, just threw it in the over. The chicken was moist and VERY savory! I don't recommend adding any additional salt or seasonings because the mixture of sauces along with the bacon (I used bacos real bacon bits) made it pretty salty. I also think that mixing the ranch and the teriyaki was a good idea. All in all, a fabulous recipe. I'll be making again very soon! Perfect for company - something a little different to serve. The only thing I think I'd change is the name. :-) I think I'll dub this, "loaded baked potato chicken".

Rich and Simple French Onion Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2009
This soup was really tasty, however when I made it I halved the butter (because we are on a low calorie diet) but even with halving the butter, I still thought there was a bit much (the taste was slightly overwhelming). Maybe it's cause i'm used to eating low cal though :p Anyways, next time I am going to use 1/4 of the recommended butter and i think it will be perfect.

Butter Bean Burgers

Wowee! This was sooo good and very different. I followed everything pretty closely, but I did saute the onions first, and use bread crumbs instead of crackers as recommended. I did 6 minutes on a side medium-high heat in about 5 tbsp of olive oil and they came out crispy and delicious :)

Cavatini II

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2009
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I did make some changes due to what I had on hand, but the bulk of the recipe was the same. I used a red pepper instead of green, and only used a cup of pepperoni and 8 ounces of mushrooms. I used cottage cheese instead of ricotta and I cut down the mozzarella. I used just penne rather than the pasta mix. The flavor was really spectacular and was quite different than anything i've ever had in a restaurant (due to the pepperoni). I would really recommend it! Also - by using lowfat cottage cheese & less mozzarella, it really cut back and on the calories, but the flavor was still awesome!
