Mmmm I love the tomato-corn combo! I used balsamic vinegar & olive oil instead of Ital. dressing. Thanks :)

Mmm this is delicious! Tomatoes from the garden usually means tons of tomato salad and fresh salsa this time of year and I was looking for something a little different...found it!! Thanks! :)

Peach Pie the Old Fashioned Two Crust Way

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2009
WOW is all i can say...this pie was gone in a flash! I didn't feel like sifting through reviews like I sometimes do, so I just made it exactly as written, except that I didn't peel the peaches (when it comes to cooking I go to the wall but I tend to be a lazy baker :p). Deeeeelicious thanks! :)

I doubled the sauce recipe, added a handful of broccoli florets, and poured it over one pound of linguine (no seafood). Two thumbs up all around! Thanks =)

Sri Lankan Potato Curry

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2009
Whoaaa this was awesome! My only complaint is that it smelled so good while cooking that no one could wait for it to finish (but that's a good thing..). I didn't have curry leaves so I used a Tbsp curry powder- deelish! =)

Deeeelicious spinach side! I sauteed with 4 cloves of fresh garlic, chopped, instead of using garlic salt, and let my family add the parm to their individual portions. Great recipe~ thanks Denee! =)

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2009
Be careful this could give you a food-orgasm!! Two thumbs waay up from everyone- I brought it to a party and some of the guests were disappointed bc it went too quickly for them to try it. I especially love that it only called for one cup of sour cream (sometimes these recipes call for two). Thanks Denise! =)

Cinnamon Raisin Biscuits

Mmmm these were really tasty! They went fast I wish I'd doubled the recipe (next time!). I didn't have shortening so I used butter, and I made drop biscuits instead of rolling out the dough, and they came out fine. Delicious~ thanks June! :)

N'Awlins Stuffed Bell Peppers

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2009
I read that these come out a bit dry as written so I added some broth to the dry stuffing. I also omitted the beef and ham (I don't like meat) and file powder (what is that?). But otherwise...a substantial sidedish with a nice kick. Thanks!

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2009
I went along with the general consensus of reviewers and added a bit more flour and baking soda. The texture- soo soft and chewy even two days later- deserves 10 stars. But the taste- 2, maybe 3 stars. They were really bland. Maybe I'll add some cinnamon to the dry mixture next time? Or even more vanilla? The taste was just nothing special :(

I have lots of zucchini to use up. I halved the sugar and used cocoa powder/veg oil instead of bakers chocolate. Cooking time is a bit long, mine were done in about 40 min. Kids loved it!
