I use this for every office party and as an appetizer at many holiday dinners. Everybody loves it and it really is so simple.

Foolproof Rib Roast

This is the only way I do a rib roast now. I bought a boneless rib roast for the h's birthday (read the label wrong) and cooked as directed. Came out perfectly!!! Love this one! Thanks.

Colleen's Potato Crescent Rolls

AMAZING!!!! Didn't change a single thing about the recipe, and they were easy to make and came out wonderfully! Baked for 12 minutes and they were wonderfully fluffy and delicious. One warning- this recipe yields A LOT of dinner rolls- might want to try freezing half the dough for later. Thanks for such a great recipe!

Best Ever Pie Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2009
I have NO IDEA what people are talking about when they said this dough was sticky. When refrigerated for two hours and when you use flour on your work surface and flour the rolling pin, there is no need for wax paper, plastic wrap, etc. Its just fine! Only change I made was to use butter instead of shortening. This recipe was great when it was being baked with the pie filling (ie apple pie), however when it was baked on its own to serve as a crust for my chocolate creme pie, it was difficult to bake properly.

Devil's Food Cake I

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
Mediocre at best. I constantly checked it in the oven to see if it was done, and one minute the toothpick came out wet and the next minute, it was clean but the cake was DRY! Not terrible, but I probably won't make it again.

Pumpkin Cheesecake II

Absolutely delicious!! I multiplied the crust by about 1.5x to make it nice and thick, and to be able to cover the sides. Everyone absolutely loved it, and other than adding more of the crust, I didn't change a thing. Would absolutely make again!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Followed everyone's advice; used two cups of white sugar, one of brown, and half cup oil and half cup applesauce. Pumpkin bread's not really my thing, but the boyfriend I made it for loved it! Very easy and quick!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Recipe says ungreased cookie sheet, DO NOT LISTEN!! YOU MUST GREASE THE COOKIE SHEET WITH THESE COOKIES. I did not and ended up having to scrape the cookies off the sheet with a spatula. Good recipe, but I wouldn't go as far as to say its the best.

Cheddar Cheese Puffs

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2009
Super easy and quick, my boyfriend loves them and I can make them quick and easy whenever he wants them. Sometimes replace ground mustard with garlic or onion powder, and you MUST add baking powder/soda or else they will turn out like flat cookies. Also helps to puff out through a pastry bag (or as I do, cut the corner off a ziploc bag).

Chocolate Cookie Cheesecake

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2009
This was amazing! It was time consuming, but really very simple and difficult to mess up. I did need to add more butter to the crust, however, because as is it wasn't moist enough to stick to the side. When I told my boyfriend about the cinnamon in the crust, he said he thought it be weird but he ended up loving it. Will definitely do again!

The cracker coating was great, although the meal was very heavy. Family complained that the meal was too dense, so next time I'm gonna try using thinner cuts of meat. Any tips on how to lighten it a bit?

Taco Seasoning I

You have to give this 5 stars when 3 of the 4 girls scarfed down their tacos. Hubby smiled and said best in a long time! I used a little less salt and crushed pepper. I also added tomato sauce and a little water after browning the meat and seasoning. Thanks, will be using this all the time!!!!

Great recipe! I used panko bread crumbs and followed others suggestions and used egg and evoo instead of butter. Baked on the cookie coolers and broiled at the end. My 6 year old told me they were better than chick fil a's! Fibbing a little? Maybe, but making a Mom's night , priceless!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

These are really good! My girls all love them. Much better than the box I was using! They freeze well too. I lay them out on a cookie sheet in single layers then when they are frozen throw them into a baggie. Great for a quick morning b-fast. I do add 1 T of vanilla extract to the batter. thanks for a great recipe!
