Chocolate Crinkles II

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
So delicious and chocolatey! Describing these as brownie cookies is very accurate (and what could POSSIBLY be wrong with that combo?!). They are also so pretty; a beautiful winter cookie. I didn't make any changes to the recipe and I baked them for about 11 minutes in my electric oven. I will make more of these this month for sure!

Excellent Holiday cookie recipe! Everyone loved these and they were so easy to make! I followed the recipe exactly and didn't run into any of the problems that other reviewers experienced with flattening and the filling running out. I will definitley make these again!

Buffalo Chicken Wing Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
We have chicken wing soup at a couple local restaurants but this is better because I can make it at home (and its easy). If you want to make it taste really authentic add chopped celery and top with crumbly blue.

Easy Turkey Gravy

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2009
This made excellent gravy. Probably the best recipe I've used and one of the easiest so I'll definitely be making this from now on. It makes a TON though, so unless you're feeding 30 people or like things floating in gravy you can easily cut this in half and still have lots of gravy. I used reduced sodium Campbell's because I brined my turkey and didn't want the gravy to be too salty. It came out great!

Super easy and delicious! I added a dash of vanilla to the filling and went a little heavier on the spices as suggested by others and it really enhanced the flavor.

Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2009
I followed this recipe to the letter, the only exception being I brined it for 24 hours and it could have brined longer. I put it in a Ziploc XL storage bag Tuesday night at 9pm and I drained the brine Wednesday night before Thanksgiving because I thought it might be too salty. I cooked it Thursday morning and my 12 lb. turkey was done in 2 1/2 hours in the roaster oven. It was delicious but I would brine it longer next time. 36-48 hours would not be too long at all, it wasn't overly salty in the least bit.

Hearty Meatball Soup I

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
Pretty good, even when reheated the next day. I did double the amount of creamed soup and did use canned chicken broth instead of the beef boullion. Also, cooked the meatballs right in the soup and added uncooked rice to the soup as it was cooking.

Molly's Chicken

Never had drumsticks in the slow-cooker. It turned out great! Fall of the bone. It was done in 4 hr.s on low. I dreged in flour and added an onion but besides that didnt change anything. I think it needed more sugar and maybe some worch but still good.

No-Fuss Meat Loaf

This is one of the better meatloafs Ive made. Great Idea to use stuffing mix. I did make a few changes. I used chicken broth in place of the water, added 2 tbls worch, onions, green pepper, garlic and a few splashes of milk. This was very easy to make and it was pretty good so I'll probally make this one again.:)

Baked Pork Chops I

I tried this recipe last week along with homemade scalloped potatoes. The chops were tender and delicious. And, by using canned mushroom soup, 1 percent milk and a little wine for the gravy, I managed to keep the calories down some. I will make this recipe again and again.

Awesome! Great for Thanksgiving leftovers. As others have said you could probably throw everything in this casserole- corn, beans, sweet potatoes, etc. Just finish with enough gravy so it doesn't dry out.
