Parmesan Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
These were awesome! Only thing I did differently was add sprigs of rosemary and sage while the potatoes baked. These were also wonderful leftover, sliced into wedges and reheated in a bit of olive oil on the stove.

Wow! This pork tenderloin was the best ever. Fixed exactly as is and everyone raved...even picky teenagers! Served with Rosemary Red Potatoes (this site) and homemade applesauce for a fabulous Sunday dinner.

When Erin mentioned it being a little bland, I added some Caraway seed. Always works well with cabbage. Old East European touch.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
I did these twice. The first time I thought they were good, but think I may have gotten distracted and used too much flour. They seemed a bit tasteless. The 2nd time I substituted banana extract fir the vanilla and used banana pudding mix, just out of curiosity. They came out great.

I prepared this the way many others suggested using 1 tsp. of the soy sauce and 1 Tbs. of the balsamic vinegar. Oh it was soooo good! Thanks for the recipe, I will be having this often!!

Delicious Black Bean Burritos

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2009
I'm giving it a 4, because it's probably better than how mine turned out. I meant to double it, except only had one can of beans - so it was a little too cream cheesy. I used pinto beans because I like them better than black, and added salsa, the baked with jack cheese on top for a few minutes. I'm going to try this one again with the right proportion of beans.

Tater Tot Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
I love tater tot casserole, this recipe is much the same as mine, but I don't add ketchup. I also add a drained can of corn and a drained can of green beans for extra nutrition, and a 1/2 of milk mixed in to loosen it up and stretch the soup. MMMM MMMM Good!

Sesame Shrimp Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
Yum, yum, yummy! Made this tonight with my boyfriend. Since I'm not a chef, I'm not sure why some said not to cook with the sesame oil, but it was expensive - so I used it! I used fresh ginger and am very glad I did. We sprinkled extra sesame seeds on top and will use more green onion next time. I will definitely make this again.

Best Ever Pie Crust

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
I personally think that this pie crust needs more water..when i do it with 1/2 cup of water its too dry making it almost imposible to mix, so i add a bit more of water until the consistency is just about right.

Sausage Quiche

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
My guests for my New Years Day brunch really thought this was great!! I made a few modifications such as using bulk sausage instead of the links and instead of making a lattice top with the crescent rolls, I sprinkled the chopped pimentos over the top for color. I'll make this again!

Roasted Rack of Lamb

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
This was great! I made it for Christmas dinner. The only thing that was disappointing was when there was no more to eat. Very simple to make, too, which is a huge bonus for me. I forgot the rosemary, and my boyfriend wants me to try it with mint next time. I hate to experiment with lamb - it's not the cheapest meat, but what the hey....I'm going for it.
