Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2008
Delicious! If I knew it was so easy to make my own cream cheese frosting, I'd have made my own all along. No more frosting in the tub for me.

Megan's Granola

I love the syrup/honey mix! I don't use the wheat germ and oat bran and don't always have all the nuts. But I like to add coconut and extra craisins and raisins. I carry a baggie of it in my bag for school - very easy be healthy on the go! Thanks a lot!

Lentil and Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
Instead of adding 8 cups water, 2 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth, & 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes, I added 8 cups of chicken broth, 2 cups water, and 1 small spicy V8. Plus I used hot sausage instead of italian & added spinach instead of ditalini. Delicious!

Roasted Cauliflower Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
We LOVE this recipe. I tweaked it a bit. I roasted the cauliflower on 425. I roasted 4 whole garlic cloves with the cauliflower. I only used 1 heaping Tbsp. of flour. I used skim milk. I added 2 Tbsp. white wine instead of sherry. I blended half the soup in a blender, and then once it is all done, at this point, I add a second can of chicken broth. Delicious!

Sheboygan Grilled Brats

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2008
Very delicious recipe. I am from New York, and I am not big on brats. But my husband loved them. The only thing I did different was I roasted some sliced red peppers separately and added them to the onion/beer mixture. Everyone said that was a nice touch, but again, we are from New York and not experts on brats.

White Chocolate Macadamia Cranberry Dreams

This is one of my all time favorite cookie recipes. Every time I make them, they disappear! I did find however that they take more like 15 minutes to bake.

We found the flavor very overwhelming, but it is a good recipe. Next time I will use course black pepper to tone it down.

Chicken Milano

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2007
This recipe was fantastic. My husband normally hates tomatoes, but with the sundried flavor, he couldn't stop talking about how good it was throughout the whole meal! Nice change from regular sauce. Quick and easy too. I used the sundried tomatoes in oil and rinsed them first to cut fat. I also then used half and half and like others said added a teaspoon or two of cornstarch to thicken it. I had no problems getting it to the right consistency. Cooked everything in three pots all at once and it was finished in perfect timing.
