Cantaloupe Frenzy

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2008
I loved this drink, I had to add sugar because my cantaloupe was not that sweet. My son didn't care for it but I didn't think he liked the cantaloupe flavor.....I may try it next time with another kind of melon.

Five Minute Ice Cream

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2008
This is super easy and very good, I did not expect it to come out so well...I was thinking it wouldn't taste like homemade ice cream...but it was so creamy and so good you could use any kind of frozen fruit and even mix and match...what a great way to make ice cream at home. 5 stars all the way.

Strawberry Cheesecake Quesadillas

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2008
This was very easy and very good, I actually made them for breakfast this morning....I know some people have complained about the mess of the jam liquifying I did not have a problem, but I expected that so I kept the jam more in the center 1 inch away from edges and it did come right to the edge at the end of cooking but did not spill out. This made a great and easy breakfast for the kids.

Seattle Cream Cheese Dogs

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2008
I made half of these with sauerkrat and half without...I never liked sauerkrat...but I liked it much better with and so did my kids I ended up adding sauerkrat to the ones without it. These were great, a little bit messy for the kids to eat but everyone enjoyed it. This is definitely worth making again.

Vegetable Biryani

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2008
This was a really good biryani but I would make two suggestions for making it better...1. Don't soak the rice for that long if at all or it will be on the mushy side. 2. Cut back on the clove, it had too much clove flavor as clove is in the garam masala...the clove was over powering.

Sweet 'n' Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2008
Very yummy. I did not change a thing and I loved them....and I don't even like meatballs I never have. I made this with the intention of giving hubby and kids something different to eat...thinking I wouldn't like it...well I loved them and ate most of them.

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
Well, I'm eighteen and I just began cooking full meals. This was perfect! Easy and Delish. I made it for my mother and I and she loved it. I will definantly make it again, I did make alot of changes though because I didnt have everything. I didnt have canned tomatoes so I cut up my own, I didnt have Penne Pasta so I used the colorfull curly ones it worked just as well. And I didnt have fresh Spinach I only have frozen but the meal turned out amazing anyways. Fives stars!

Monkey Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
This was the best Monkey Bread that I've ever had and was my first time making Monkey Bread and it turned out so pretty as the picture. Very easy to make and fun for the kids to join in on making. The only downfall is that it smells so good baking that you don't want to wait for it to cool in the bundt pan before diving in. This did not last long at all after it was placed on a plate. I'm sure this will be one of my most used recipes in the future.

Oaxacan Tacos

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
I found this recipe to be very bland. I followed it exactly as written. Not nearly enough flavor, we even tried to add some things and they were still bland. I don't really understand all the high ratings. I was the only one in the family that actually ate it. The rest of them threw it out.

Hot Pizza Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
I did not use pepperoni as I don't eat that. This was an excellent dip for bread sticks. Too heavy for chips like someone else said. I did not find that this tasted very much pizza, I thought the parmessan cheese was over powering...I think I would cut back the parmessan cheese next time. Although this was also better the next day after it had set in the refrigerator over night and then was reheated the next day. So I would make this a day in advance refrigerate and then reheat. Will probably make this again but not an absolute favorite.
